Is Bosa the next JJ Watt?

He's definitely not JJ Watt. JJ Watt is a once in a lifetime player.

He does however have ridiculous versatility. Far more versatility than either of those guys. He also has a tremendous frame and ridiculous reach. If he doesn't excel outside, he could be a monster inside. I would snatch him up in a heart beat if he's there when we pick.

To the OP, Bosa almost assuredly isn't Watt. Thats a once a generation player.

I think he's going to be a dominant SDE in a 4-3 who can kick inside some if needed.

I can see that happening. Pretty much what I said.

I have never seen someone with his frame be so good at being double teams and still be so explosive. If his talent translates, you're not blocking this kid one on one. It's not going to happen. His hands are too fast and he's too explosive.

His value may be too great to pass up if he's available. It's so hard to find a dominant pass rusher at SDE. Thats like having an Earl Thomas on your team. Its an advantage that 90% of defenses don't have and gives a team an immediate boost over the field. How many SDEs really have to be schemed for in a game? Combine that with what everyone thinks Gregory can be and you could be set there for a long time. I've had him as the top player on my board for a while with Ramsey 2nd.

They are saying 3-4 player but I think he's a Strong Side DE in a 4-3 that can move in side, if we have a shot to get him I really hope we do it, our defense needs help and a pass rusher and a solid run player like Bosa would really help out, Bosa and Gregory setting the edge for the future is crazy.

Best player in the draft. This guy is an animal. DONT let the sack totals fool you. I've seen this guy get triple teamed consistently. Lots of Ohio State games are televised in Ontario so I've seen 5-6 games. This guy is the truth. Bosa first, Wentz second.

Even the majority of his highlights come against double teams. Like I said before, I have never seen someone with his burst and athleticism also be able to beat double teams so frequently.

I would love to have Bosa, but the thought of churning over and over through spare Qb after spare QB for the next decade, wasting Dez, Gregory, OLs, Jones' and Bosa's career freaks me out.

Not to mention a nice OL which is set up for franchise QB.

I dont think he is as strong as Watt but he is really good at negotiating double teams and affecting the play whether its a pass or run.

Bosa would be an amazing get but i dont have confidence that we can land him. A great alternative could be Something like Ramsey or Hargreaves in the 1st and Jonathan Bullard in the 2nd who is also an explosive bull rusher as a strong side DE

I'd be hysterical if that happened. Bosa and Gregory coming off the edge looks good to me.
