I have to agree. Maybe I am nitpicking here, but they just don't seem to provide any additional insight or background. Do these guys even interview the players or coaches in the days leading up to the game? How about talking some strategy and nuances in the game?

I wish they'd hand the color job to Sterling Sharpe, he filled in great last year.

yeah, he does all the NFL Network games

you'd thought after he was so awful last yr, they'd have replaced him...and he's still awful this yr

the wierd thing is Chris Collinsworth is usually pretty good, but he was kind of a knucklehead tonight too with all his "Deangelo Hall is god" talk...Hall got beat like a drum, yet Collinsworth kept talking about him shutting down his die of the field and noboy ever wanting to throw at him, which hasnt been the way its been for 2-3 seasons

by far...he made one play the entire game, and that was only because Manning grossly underthrew a ball that he got a gift int on

the rest of the time, when they threw to him his guy was wide open

and he had at least 2-3 more examples of why he is the most horrendous tackling CB in the league...the guy is a total pansy

You would think that after every sports related message board in the world was overrun with "Please shoot Bryant Gumble" comments, that the NFL network maybe would get a clue and find someone who's voice doesn't make you want to gouge your eyballs out to do the game.

He must have pictures of whoever makes the decisions naked with Catie Couric. That's the only explanation that I can think of.

he is good...I still like Dick Stockton too...and Verne Lundquist (and of course VL used to be our radio guy)...I have no idea why they split Moose and Stockton
