After watching them yesterday, what are your thoughts on how far they can go this year.

I think they are a very good team. That defense is very sound front to back. Great talent on the front 4, smart LBs and a very good secondary.

Newton isnt the best pure pass out there, but he makes the plays he needs to and might be one of the toughest QBs in the NFL to defend. Compared to other running QBs he plays very disciplined as far as tucking and running. What could really hurt them in the playoffs is talent at the skill positions. Olsen and Stewart are playing good football, but Cotchery and Fuchness can easily be taken out of games. Their ability outside could hurt them when the margin of error gets smaller

I honestly think they go one n done in the playoffs. There are a few teams I think that would give them trouble, for their sake hopefully they don't come up against Arizona for one.

I think Arizona is the best team in the NFC IMO

Arizona or Greenbay will beat them in the playoffs and if by some miracle they beat those two teams they won't beat New England in the Superbowl.

If Cam stays healthy they are Top 3 in The NFC...

My disdain for that lame-*** dance prevents me from saying they can whoop Arizona or Green Bay in January....

It's really hard to see them as anything but a legit contender at this point.

If we lost our top WR before the season started and still managed to get to 11-0 regardless of our schedule, we'd all be talking Super Bowl as well.

They should at least make it to the Super Bowl but you never know how things can turn in the playoffs. Their core only has one playoff win, against a 3rd string qb. Their other two contests were double digit losses. Just like any team, if their qb has a bad day that can wipe them out.

Yes.
Carolina is absolutely a Super Bowl contender.
One of them anyway.

I do not know why anyone is questioning Carolina right now. Cam is all that and the rest of the team is also very, very good. And no, I am not a fan of the Panthers, I am a fan of the Patriots. Die hard and a season ticket holder for around 35 years - still am. But for the life of me do not understand how the Cowboys were favorites over the Panthers. Makes no sense, and if I knew a bookie sure would have bet on that one. And I have been a member of this forum for a long time and used to get some good football talk. Now I just stay away, but this question made me make a response. They are the real deal.

Yes. Their Defense is top shelf this year.
The playoffs will be interesting this year on the NFC side.

A lot of people are hating cause we got beat but, they are like a version of the Seahawks when they won just with a better offense.
