Ouch...

Not meaning to pour salt in your wounds, but it looks like the Skins would have been better off if I'd been their GM, rather than Vinny... I've been saying for three years now that they were gettin' old on the OL, and had nothing on the bench that was NFL caliber...

If I'd been running things, they would have been drafting offensive linemen the last coupla years...

I'll tell you what, if the rumors are true that the Chiefs have Brian Waters on the trading block, Danny Boy ought to think seriously about gettin' up off of a high draft pick or two and make that deal...

At the same time, if Vinny is making his picks based upon the best player available, it is hard to argue with that strategy. Orakpo has been working out really well with 2.5 sacks in his first 5 games, and at least one other called back by a penalty. I believe in the best player available strategy, but it only works if you commit to the draft and try to stockpile picks or supplement through free agency. Ignoring the offensive line this offseason was just foolish.
