Thats fine, but when you do that you take away weapons in the passing game to throw to. Both those guys are huge in our passing attack.

I understand that but you can go two-TE set with one in the back-field in the H-back spot to help on the blitz and run game plus you still can get the H-back the field especially Witten.

Does anyone want to take the bet that Ware doesn't step it up today?

Me neither.

Pitt radio reporting now that Ware is out. Heard it on the ticket.

How would they even know yet? Sounds like wishful thinking to me.

Ed "Next Question" Werder said his sources tells him that it will be a game time decision on sportscenter. They're going to test his knee to make sure that he can get it loose for the game.

I guess his "source" just said "next Question Ed" and he translated it into "it will be a game time decission" :laugh2:

My sources say he is definitely playing today.

Glazer says its still a gametime decision. They want to make sure his knee is fine out in the cold.

Glazer's sources are as good as anyone's, and he just said gametime decision only because of the cold. Said in a dome, he'd be fine.

Pittsburgh CBS is FOS.

The Cowboys will use Witten and Bennett has a H-Back to help on the blitz.

If you use Witten to max protect, then your just playing into the hands of Pittsburgh. They play cover2, which means that the TE in the middle of the field is very effective. Yeah, I guess you could take our best receiving threat against this defense and use him to block but why would you? Same can be said, to a lessor extent for Bennett. Besides, Bennett is also a rookie and has never seen this blitz package.

I don't see how this would be a better idea.
