All of the pundits and former players on the NFL shows say that the Cowboys are disrespecting Dak by not caving into his demands. Well, it can just as easy to say that Dak is disrespecting the Cowboys by holding out for a contract that will put him in the top tear of QB's pay wise while not achieving Top Tear success on the field. Along with not seeming to care that meeting his demands will hinder the teams ability to field a team necessary to help them achieve post season success.
Well, pundits are all about what's best for them. Saying, "Pay The Man" gives them something to write and talk about. It helps them. Once the team pays, they then get to write and talk about how stupid the Cowboys are. Either way, it's good storyline for them and they make money. Players are always on the side of players for the most part because they believe that a player getting paid helps their own cause. I mean, it's not true but that's all too often the mind set. Former players, if you are hearing them, that means they are getting paid and so again, it helps them personally to side with the players. That gives them access, which in turn, gets them more exposure, which translates into money. It's a thing, just use common sense and that, most times, will lead you to the truth IMO.
