Is Dak the only super greedy QB in Cowboys history?

Every player and their agent are looking to maximize their contracts. Dak is no different from any other player.

Stop propping up your arguments with false narratives about Tony Romo.
Both QBs are more similar than you want to believe. Both were above average; neither was elite.

Romo - don’t tell me he never played with great team.

Excellent QB, but his fans will argue he never had a good team. Ummm….Flozel Adams, Kyle Kozier, Andre Gurode, Leonard Davis, Marc Colombo on OL with TE Jason Whitten, WRs TO, Terry Glenn and Patrick Crayton at the same time, and Miles Austin, RBs Demarco Murray, Julius Jones and Marion Barbour. On Defense, he had Marcus Spears, Jay Ratliff, Chris Canty, Greg Ellis, DeMarcus Ware, Bradie James, Terence Newman, Jacque Reeves, Roy Williams and Ken Hamlin. Rolled through the NFC and went into the playoffs with the bye and #1 seed, but after his trip to CABO in the bye week, they lost to the lowest wild card team NY Giants 21-17 in a game where he only completed 50% of his passes despite the team rushing for 154 yards while holding the Giants to 90 rushing and 163 passing. That was the worst loss in Cowboys history in my opinion.
No sensible person thinks Cabo made any difference

I do very well he’s there 3-4 more years, I deal with it much better than you did with Romo who is still eating you up.
I laugh at you Romoholics. You take the cheese every time because Dak forced not only a benching but retirement as well on your beloved. Even made him go cry to the media on an hour long whiny rant just like his fanatics do on a daily basis for the past 9 years and counting.

how did you measure the % of salary? did you compare the AAV for romo to the cap in the last year of his contract, vs. 24% the first year of the contract?
cap goes up each year.

and I do agree, the QB salaries have accelerated much faster than rest of the positions across the NFL.

aslo, those are voidable years in the contract to spread the bonuses. Dak's last contract was 6 years, with two voidable years to do the same. its pretty standard in contracts to help manage the cap each year. with that said, why Jerry didn't do the same this time around is beyond me. but that's what happens when you are focused on publicity of it, than actually what needs to be done and sign the contract literally one hour before first game of the season.
Nope those are both percentage of the cap by AAVs of the year they signed.

All these guys have voidable years so I'm not sure it makes that much of a difference. Even Romo had voidable years build in, but it didnt matter once they extended him and then he retired early so that money came due sooner. By adding those in then Mahomes has a 14 year agreement. It still doesnt help the issues that Dak's been given 4 year deals facing free agency while other guys are signing longer deals while still playing under rookie contracts. This is a huge miss by Jerry and Stephen. Decent chance they do utilize voidable years in Daks deal, it just becomes a scary game to play because what are the odds hes still playing at a high level after age 36? My guess is the both parties will go their separate ways after the current agreement, having money in void years just takes away some of the advantage of a rookie QB deal at this point.

So what is it YOU been doing for the last couple years?

Long whiny rants...full of hate...on a person that hasn't been with the team in 10 years...is what. Even worse than what you accuse others of.

You're day is coming too. The day Dak gets up on the podium to announce his retirement without any accolades other than a huge bank account. He'll cry and point to the sky and all the Dak stans will need a timeout.

Funny how you pick and chose when to be creeped out. Stevethecowboy and Pappy don’t creep you out but AC does lol.
Funny how your go to deflection when you are inevitably forced to eat your own words is "I wasn't talking to you, you stalker". Yet here you are.

Also funny how another of your go to deflections is "the only thing you post about is Dak", yet here you are, spewing all over in two separate Romo threads, doing your very best to defend Dak and diminish Romo, over and over and over and over.

But what's really funny is how here you are white knighting for AC when it is crystal clear you will end up the same. A grown man in his 50's with a creepy obsession that most move past about the time they discover girls.

Now that's funny!

You just went on a rant, your Dak devotion syndrome is really bad. You are really funny and we appreciate your crazy takes and excuses for every Dak failure and shortcomings it’s a full time job for you with a lot of overtime, keep the rants and disjointed posts coming it’s a highlight of the Zone

10 times out of 10 you gonna be a first round exit too lol.

Tony Romo had a passer rating of 93.0 with 1,316 yards, 8 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in 6 games in the playoffs in his career.

Also we can see in his broadcast ability the knowledge of offense and defense he has.

Would love to see Dak in a similar role doing what Tony does.

AC, aren't you ashamed to post your picture for everyone to see? But, that is how I pictured you.

Video boy is back, look he’s still stuck on hating Romo, he should find a new team especially when the current QB he loves isn’t better
AC is two faced and talks out of both sides of the mouth. First, Dak needs some professional help to get over his jitters during a big game, plus he is super greedy, AC's words.

Then, say something bad about the love of his life and off the cliff he goes. Funny as hell. Then dogs Romo to make himself feel better. Bi-polar as a polar bear.

He cried like the simp he's always been. Went Hollywood as soon as he got the starting gig. Fame went to his head. Wasted his healthy youthful years. Went and cried to the media after being replaced and not given a chance to come back due to age and injuries. No other Cowboys QB has ever ran to the media to rant like Romo did. Embarrassing.

Nah. Dak will walk on graciously like all other Cowboys QBs, except for one, not set up an hour long rant to the media.

Funny coming from someone in his 60s and still hung up defending his Hollywood hero.

Both loser qbs that choked in the playoffs. Wish this Era of Cowboy football was over.
Romo didn't choke in the playoffs. The ball was slippery on that FG snap, and anyone could have mishandled it, and when he tried to run it in, he had poor blocking.

IIRC, Dak was about the only one who played well in the playoff game against the Rams (?) Everyone else just crapped the bed.

A QB can't win by himself.
