Someone glued the pages together. They can't turn the page.

We have an average age of 26.32 years old, which made us the seventh-youngest team in the NFL at the start of the season. We're also the fifth least-experienced team in the league, with an average of 4.08 years of experience. And we have the sixth-most first-year players with 11.

So no, we're not old.

The Commanders are old. They ranked dead last in all three categories -- they're the oldest team, the most-experience team and the team with the fewest rookies. And they're last by a good margin in all three categories.

Not disagreeing that overall we are one of the youngest teams in the league. I was just curious how we still compared to 2003 in the article. I think we are only "Old" at a couple of positions NT, RG, and QB.

What is interesting to note is the desparity in mid-level experienced veterens. The 3 years of poor drafts of 2000 - 2002 have left this team with several 1-3 year players and then about 11 older players nearly all acquired through FA. I think next years draft will be extremely important in terms of younger offensive players.
