Is Dallas in your top 4 teams? Top 4 bottom teams?

1. Will our running game stay intact and thus keep romo protected?
2. Will we generate pressure?

If yes to both I say yes we are elite.

But my gut says we struggle early to find a groove in the running game.

1. Seattle
2. Baltimore
3. Greenbay
4. Pittsburgh

Bottom 4:
Washington
San Fran
Jags
Bucs

If going by last season then I think we are a top 4 team, this however is a new season and this team knows they have to go out and prove it.

if the cowboys don't end up in the top five with all the moves they have made and a top qb in a qb driven league then this is a huge fail. But the running game is a big question mark it shouldn't of been but it is.

Are you asking top team or top running team?

If running team....
If Dallas still had Murray, I would say top 4 easily, as that is a known commodity and people would expect the same type of results. Maybe not 1800, but 1500 would not be out of the question.
With Randle and / or McFadden, I say 5 to 10. As we have not seen them yet in real time. But with the OL being a top 2 or 3 if not #1. Then it is reasonably accepted, and to believe these RB's will have some good success. Until seen, I will say 5 to 10. Once they get in that groove, then they would play like a top 4 running team.
As I agree, it will take a few games to get how they will use the RB's and if someone emerges as the lead guy.

As for a top 4 team, besides the running game, it depends on how fast the defense gels, and once Hardy and McClain return, it will, or hopefully will be how long it takes for them to play like a top 10 defense, or better. But I will say if not a top 4 team, they sure are knocking on the door, very hard knocking.

Baltimore and Pittsburgh top 4? Interesting but I don't see them as that.

Pitt has a legit offense but their defense is not looking too good.

For me...

1. GB

2. Seattle

3. New England

4. Dallas

On the cusp of Top 4. But I can't put them ahead of Seattle, NE, Green Bay and Baltimore, maybe Pitt as well. Until I see that we have an effective running game again given the questions we have at TB, I am not quite ready to throw us into that Top 4 mix.

What would you have done differently this offseason at the rb position ?

Why do you guys like Baltimore and Pitt?

Bengals will probably win that division.

I'm shocked at the lack of confidence people have in New England. They won the super bowl last year and basically go to the conference game every year. I know Brady is out for 4 games but I still put them in as a wild card. Thats all Big Bill needs.

How about this thought? Cut Sean Lee and his 6y/$42m deal and sign Murray for 5y/$40m.

Which guy are you most likely to get more productivity from this season?

Quite possibly, Lee. Don't know.

But the issue with Murray was for later years anyway.
I'm sure we'd have signed him for 1-2 years

Oops, just realized this thread is not supposed to be another RB thread.
My bad.

Can't really give a top 4 list, but I'd have Dallas lumped somewhere in the top 7-8 teams.
