I totally agree, the Cowboys as a sports organization don't offer anything that stands out above other NFL teams. No state taxes are the only advantage I see but other states have that too.Clearly it isn't! Players seemed to love to be mentioned for the Cowboys, now you see how the Cowboys go about spending, and what smart minded agent would tell their players to sign with Dallas??
What does Dallas have to offer these days to get players back to wanting to be here? There's nothing I see at this moment that says HEY I'm a big free agent I want to be here for several years, I know they'll pay what the market dictates, only for this not to happen and said players go the other way!!
It's like beating a dead horse, maybe one day the Jones family will get their mojo back!! Please give your thoughts
“huge incentive”? Seven NFL franchises play in no state income tax states. Four of them are bottom 12 teams. None of them are top twelve teams.Perhaps it's not , but their agents will remind their clients that there is NO STATE INCOME TAX IN TEXAS. This is a huge incentive.
I beg to differ......the brisket ive crushed in Austin is enough reasonNo State taxes in the ONLY reason to come here.
No player factors in no state income tax in their contracts. If they did every superstar in every sport would sign here.Perhaps it's not , but their agents will remind their clients that there is NO STATE INCOME TAX IN TEXAS. This is a huge incentive.
POST OF YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!post of the day!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol lol
If?If the OP is trolling
They do get you one way or the other. I knew that Texas had a higher sales tax but didn't know about the property tax but I imagine that varys wildly from a place like Austin to a place like Lubbock or AmarilloNo player factors in no state income tax in their contracts. If they did every superstar in every sport would sign here.
I live in Texas and insane property taxes cancel out no state income tax.
NO...Raiders and Cowboys are played out...like Lee Jeans in the late 80s...Clearly it isn't! Players seemed to love to be mentioned for the Cowboys, now you see how the Cowboys go about spending, and what smart minded agent would tell their players to sign with Dallas??

Playoffs is overtime without the pay.Its a good question because there are several legit answers
1. If the money is even and you want a cushy gig but no championship or discipline, this is a great destination
2. If the money is even but you want to go where football is the main thing, you avoid this place like the plague
3. If your a rookie like Shadeur and you want to get a massive 2nd contract, and branding, regardless of results you want to come here . Not to mention a career waiting for you in the boof
