The way the defense didn’t actually bother to show up this week, as well as last week when the godawful Texans drove up and down the field, and the awful Colts had an almost amazing offensive performance until the last like 5 mins of the game, this is a question that needs to be asked….. is Dan Quinn really all that good? I mean we have been giving up a TON of yards and points lately.

This tells me you don't know what you are talking about. The Texans didn't drive up and down the field against us.

The spoiled culture is seeping into him. It taints everyone. It’s tainting Diggs. It’s tainting Parsons. Now it’s tainting Quinn. It’s the Cowboys way. Anyone and everyone who touches this team gets the curse.

I mean think about it tho, this is a guy who, as a head coach, led a legendary Super Bowl meltdown

colts put up 33 in a half against the 2 seed vikings, texans took the chiefs to overtime . things have not been good obviously, but the league is as full of parity as we’ve seen it in awhile

I think the injuries are starting to take their toll. Not to mention the interior DL has failed to be addressed in any serious fashion, but that's been the case well before DQ ever got here. I think we've all kind of known the run game has been a weakness for a while and they've done pretty much nothing to seriously address this. At this point in the season not really anything we can do about it.

they literally did. You just don’t want to admit how bad the defense has been most of the season against the run, and last few games against the pass
They literally did not. They had 327 total yards and both of their TDs were scored on our side of the field off of turnovers. Stop.

14 of 23 points by the Texans came on short fields. They had a whopping 3 points in the 2nd half. The 1 sack in two games and not being able to stop outside runs is more of the issue… that’s on the players!

and who schemes for said players? I also notice you’re not talking about this week or the colts

We should also ask ourselves this...

How many defenses can withstand the loss of their #2 and #3 CBs as well as their run stuffing nose and starting MLB?

My guess is ....not many.

So why haven’t they gone and gotten some of the UFA’s? Some of them are way better than Joseph or Bland

This nonsensical take needs to end. The Cowboys absolutely have addressed DT. They’ve used significant draft capital on it almost every year for years. They brought in Watkins and Hankins. To say they’re not addressing it is just willful ignorance. The issue is WHO they’ve taken and HOW they’ve addressed it.
