The tone on the Forum last night was pretty dark. I am usually critical of the team but they pulled out the W. Wasn’t pretty at all but you have to give some credit to Houston. They were playing their Super Bowl yesterday. I was shocked by the negativity post game. Btw - Dallas is not catching Philly. 13-14 wins won’t do it. You know that right? The playoffs are almost guaranteed but the division is lost. Philly is going to win 15. How many of you would have taken 10-3? Nearly 100 pct. So sit back and enjoy this playoff season. The 5 seed looks like a lock.
We pulled it out or Lovie Smith gave Jerry and early Xmas present lmao

Looked more like the latter to me.

I'm great, it's victory Monday.

However our 4 key injuries from yesterday are not.

I have a bad feeling were going no better than 2-2 to close the season...hope for better but this team has some big holes with injuries

I don't agree...

but even IF that happens, we most likely have zero change in being the 5th seed and play the Bucs LOL
its all about the payoffs now..

we need to get through this stretch as healthy as possible..No updates on how severe the injuries are, so we can get through it.

odd fans learned nothing the games we went 4-1 without some key players.

Lets play one week at a time without worrying about all 4 at once.

week to week my man..

remember when fans in Preseason thought this team was 7-win team at best after dak goes down a 4 win team at best..

Let that sink in, 10 wins with 4 to go.

When was the last time we had back to back double digit winning seasons? The team is trending in the right direction. This year may not be our year. But every year we make the tournament, there is a chance. Make the playoffs year in, year out and your chances increase.

Some of you guys act like y'all would rather Dallas be 3-10 so y'all can avoid the letdown. I bet if someone put up a voting poll asking what record would you rather the Cowboys have 10-3 or 3-10...3-10 would win hands down. Just so y'all little precious hearts don't have to ache. Y'all are part of that soft generation some complain about.

Don't tell my heart... My achy breaky heart. That's y'all. Singing the blues about a ten and three team. Sad, sad, sad.

I am disappointed that Dak forces the ball to Brown and Gallup. If he is gonna force the ball to someone, force it to Lamb.

Just because we're making the playoffs doesn't mean it's okay to look horrible heading into them.

There is soooo much that needs cleaned up and it's the same thing every single year.

The team was building momentum and it had a different feel from the other years and then reality came crashing down again and they showed their true selves…..still inconsistent

Its not about the year or record we're having. Its about Philly having a better year

Now we can't say at least we're the NFC East champs when we lose in the playoffs

Little jalen leapfrogged right over us because we got rid of Cooper

Instead of watching Cooper and CeeDee were watching Dak to Dalton Schultz urgh

I was ok yesterday. Dak throwing two picks for the third time in the last six games is concerning though. And taking the Texan's down to the last drive is pretty disappointing.

sorry 10-3 and 6-1 the last 7, that not consistent??, you believe how a game unfolds in a win somehow shows inconsistency? itn was poor execution and we won..thats shows consistently. String to together wins,,.

I'm great. A win is a win in the NFL. No style points are given. Seems like we took a bad team lightly and that bad team came in fired up and probably feeling disrespected being a 17 point dog. We escaped with the win. That's the silver lining. Now regroup and get ready for Jax.

People are looking at the bigger picture.
Prescott was awful but to be expected as he is an inconsistent QB. Without the defense preventing a pick 6 and making the goal line stop the team lose.
Parsons was a non factor which is the most concerning point to me as it suggests he is playing with an issue or two. If he doesn't play lights out then the D are less likely to carry Prescott and the offense to victory.
Steele could be done for the season.
Scraped past the worst team in football whilst the Eagles blow out the Giants away at the business end of the season.
It's not exactly looking good ahead of the play offs but if people just want to perhaps beat a decimated Bucs team before bowing out post season then yesterday was fine.

You hit the nail on the head here with the two largest concerns and I was going to start a thread about it.

Prescott and Parsons look mediocre. And that's not good for any postseason run. I don't know if Parsons is playing hurt or is just worn down but he looks like a different player the last few weeks from the one at the beginning that was wrecking stuff.

Prescott? Honestly, I have no idea. IMO he has played better in his career but he seems to have regressed to the point where it's a total unknown what you are going to get from him week to week.

Feeling great. Team played like poo and we managed a win. I thought if we got to 10 wins we’re locked into the playoffs so it was a big win.

That being said, the 49ers and Eagles are still the cream of the crop in the NFC IMO. In order to win in the playoffs we’re going to need some luck and have them underperform. We’re just not as talented as them yet.

There is soooo much that needs cleaned up and it's the same thing every single year.

That's the thing and seems to be a pattern with this team. They are stretches in their good seasons where they just look so good, so dominant but by the end of the year, it seems to just kind of lose it's steam and then we get bounced early in the playoffs. Take last year. We blew out Philly at the end but they benched everyone. But even then, the defense looked inept letting the backups from Philly move the ball at will against us. Then before that was the abysmal performance against the Cards (that repeated itself two weeks later in the San Fran playoff game).

There are 4 games left. They have to find some sort of groove here over the next four. That Philly game is important. Not even for getting the W, which I think standings wise has no importance as Philly isn't losing another game. But for confidence. You lose that game to Philly and look horrible and get beat up, that's going to be so deflating.

Too bad we don't get a division win and ring for beating the eagles on Xmas Eve

The good news about yesterday: Dak and the offense drove down the field for TDs on the first possession and the last possession.

3 turnovers in our own end of the field gave our defense fewer opportunities to stop them, but the run defense was still pretty bad until their starting RB left the game.

I think the penalties were minimal, so hopefully they're taking control of that, which means beef up the run defense and stop giving the ball away, and we have a chance against anyone.
