Maybe just maybe they wanted to see if Lance could eventually be the guy. Do you think Lance had a part in negotiations going slowly, or are they really just waiting it out??

Dak is facing a contract year at 30mil and nothing guaranteed for the future. Performance risk. Injury risk.

At the end of the year, Jerry has 25mil more in CAP to bargain for the next contract.

All the pressure is on Dak to make a deal, not Jerry.
