Is it me or is Manning annoying as heck?

ANNOYING AS HECK!

I always knew he had his pre-snap "madness" but now watching an entire game, espically my team, I find this hard to imagine he shouldnt be flagged in some way.

Its not only Manning who is back and forth, left and right, flailing arms and what not but the OL, RBs, Wrs, EVERYBODY is moving around. I find it hard to believe that if another team started doing the same thing a flag would not be thrown.

Are the Colts getting away with anything or is it just me being paranoid and frusterated with his non-sense? Just seems its an unfair advantage with all the movement that takes place pre snap by ALL positions.

I'm sick of the whole Manning brothers thing to be honest, Eli is a joke compared to Philip Rivers, what a fool New York was! Payton is a great regular season QB and nothing else...

I think its a little unusual how once a lineman is set if he even flintches its supposed to be a false start yet that offensive line moves constantly pre snap.

Im sure theres a rule about audibles or what not but the Colts take this to the extreme.

There is nothing more satisfying than seeing his face on the field when he is losing and crying for a penalty.

Listening to his post-game loser speech is a close second.

you can audible all you want within the 35 sec play clock......................Indy is full of crap with most of it. I was happy to see that our D wasn't reacting to any of that false stuff. I think it helped us becuse it gave our defense time to rest between plays.

Agreed, truth is Clark pushed off the defender in the endzone so that was a great no call....

Definitely. Ware's blind side shot was a great example of this. Peyton read blitz, this his madness, Ware backed off and then blitzed anyway. This was bogus otherwise someone would have picked up Ware.

It's strategy, there shouldn't be a rule against it. When they get out of their stance to point and make adjustments they aren't drawing anyone offsides, so who cares? I don't like Manning much as a person (insofar as I can dislike someone I've never met), but I admire his cerebral approach to the game and I like watching the Colts offense because I think they function as a "team" better than any offense I've seen before.. the Colts' offense is like Paul Brown's wet dream. Everyone is always on the same page, no one is taking plays off, they function as a very efficient machine. To me, as a fan and as a student of the game, it is cool to see how different teams take different approaches to trying to accomplish the same goal: getting the ball in the endzone. The Colt's approach happens to be based more on the mental aspect of the game, I don't have a problem with it and I don't get why other people do, other than out of an irrational hatred for anything Manning.

I never said their offense isNT good. Geeze.

I just wanted to know if they are taking advantage or bending rules somehow for this offense. Not once did I say I dont like Manning and dont respect his game. So to answer my question... that really didnt help. But thanks for the effort.

I agree completely, and at the same time I have a hard time believing a completely cerebral team like the Colts can win a championship.

Football has been and always will be a physical sport. When Ware layed out Peyton and Roy knocked out Utecht, I knew we were going to have a shot at winning this game. After the Colts got hit in the mouth, their timing was off, their receivers started dropping passes, and we all saw why finesse teams lose in the NFL.

Oh I said the entire week leading up to this game, the Cowboys have to take a page out of New England and Pittsburgh playbook and hit Manning and Co. hard and often in order to win the game and they did just that!

Go Boys' :star:

I cannot stand that whole Manning charade, it's a joke. His father pulled a power play on SD by threatning to have his son hold out unless dealt. I've heard the old man is a conniver behind the scenes.
And that Eli Manning is so overrated it's not funny.
Stop with the Mannings already.

I'll second that Manning comment, he's no where in Philip River's league.

Like Parcells said, most of what Manning does at the line means nothing. Perfect example on Ware's sack, he lines up across from the slot receiver and then shows Blitz. Manning sees this and goes into his charade. Ware moves back into position on the slot receiver. The ball is snapped, no protection changes and Ware goes untouched to murder Manning.

And dont forget who the Chargers got with the Giants' 4th round pick.

Castilla (sp?) who is adding to a great pass rush.

I don't like it. They do move too much before the snap. An offensive linemen turning their head completely around is worse than a flitch to me, even though I know the flitch makes you think the ball is being snapped.

I think it should be stopped, but it won't, oh well.

the only thing that annoys me about Manning, if he doesn't get a call that he feels he's entitled to, he reacts like a spoiled brat
