I live in the DC area and I've talked to several people (not just Commanders fans, there's a lot of other fans here) and most think it was a suicide attempt. They basically said "The police report said one thing, TO said another. I believe the police".

Usually after I argued for a while I was able to convince them it was probebly accidental by pointing out that it wasn't an official police report, he didn't have his stomach pumped, and he we released by the hospital and practicing the next morning.

The problem is most people don't have knowledgable Cowboys fans to argue with and they'll continue to think he's lying and has orchestrated a coverup.

-police reports reported it(who is someone going to trust? A guy they dislike in TO or the police?

-35 pill ended up in the drawer?

- TO's publiscist seemed very sketchy with her story

And well, I guess that is it. But i guess it is enough for some people

I can certainly see that some things seem strange - although relying on an initial police report prior to an actual investigation is weak.

Nevertheless, the fact that TO was released and not held for mental and/or emotional evaluation and the fact the he was coherent at the press conference and practiced later speaks volumes ...... not even remotely consistent with a guy who took 35 pain pills.

yeah, if a guy would have taken 35 pills and been rushed to the ER one night, there is no way he would have been in good enough shape to shiw ip and run around the next day

True, but the point is that the police have stated that they investigated the matter further and it was an accidental overdose. So one second most Skins fans are saying "I'll trust the police" and now they don't trust the police because it doesn't agree with their initial beliefs.
