Is it odd that D-Law hasn't spoken to Kneeland yet?

I saw the interview with Kneeland saying he sent a request to the social media account for D-law, but he never responded. Is he that busy (which is understandable he has a life too), or could it be he wants to get to know him better first when he arrives in town?

Could we spin in another way and say "hey this is my replacement, i'm not ready to speak with him yet???" Or if it was a more "known" player drafted, would he have reached out to sooner (ex Jared Verse/Dallas Turner) Please give your thoughts. I'm sure Micah would have reached out quickly too, guys are probably like "who is this kid!??" lol

Why is it odd? I don't think he's obligated to reach out to the new guy. The coach should be doing that.

You’re trying to make a story out of nothing though. "hey this is my replacement, i'm not ready to speak with him yet???” No. They are away from the grind
hence (he has a life too!)

It's not overly shocking when an established veteran hesitates to anxiously encourage someone who might possibly replace him. Be that as it may, let's hope D-Law sees fit to do what's best for the team by supporting his fellow teammate. Some players are unselfish, and some aren't. There's no point in coming to premature conclusions at this time, though. We'll see how things go, when the time comes to make that judgment. It's early yet.

Oh the drama. Are we really concerned about whether or not DLaw is communicating with a rookie in May? We have too many people that like to complain about nothing. It’s probably DLaw’s last year with Dallas anyway. Looks like they have decided to go the Tyron Smith route with him.

Dlaw does not like him from what I heard because a year and a half ago he B-slapped Dlaw's momma. Them are my thoughts.

Remember the last thing we heard from DLaw was when he was making excuses for their poor play against GB...."they was tired, it's a long season.."......well I wouldn't doubt he now feels threatened of having to split time and/or eventually losing his starting spot. Be careful what you wish for.....he wished to get some rest .

I hope Dlaw sticks around a few more years. With Kneeland on the other side the two could be the best run stopping DE duo in the league.
