The Eagles got to three straight title games and lost without TO

TO got to Philly and they darn near went undefeated in 14 games. 13-1 with TO. They were a different team with him. Yes they held down the fort for a few games without him. Big deal.

That's a bit unfair to the '04 Eagles. Terrell Owens was an integral part of the Eagles early success during their Super Bowl runner up year. Having a great regular season is fantastic. Just ask the '07 Cowboys, but every season is actually composed of two seasons: regular and post. And when they needed to prove they were the most worth NFC team to reach the title game, they won the two games necessary without Terrell Owens. That achievement cannot be discounted by anyone.

Shanahan would also implement his WCO which is exactly what TO wants and don't forget his connection to Romo. He's liked him from the beginning and Romo's skills fit the WCO to a tee.

and bringing in a fast reciever that will go across the middle on slants like Johnnie Lee Higgins makes more sense if Shannan comes here and does that.

Dunno how many times I saw Higgins turn a 5yd slant pattern into a big gain.
