That's a bit unfair to the '04 Eagles. Terrell Owens was an integral part of the Eagles early success during their Super Bowl runner up year. Having a great regular season is fantastic. Just ask the '07 Cowboys, but every season is actually composed of two seasons: regular and post. And when they needed to prove they were the most worth NFC team to reach the title game, they won the two games necessary without Terrell Owens. That achievement cannot be discounted by anyone.YoMick;2584242 said:Can I just add to this.
The Eagles got to three straight title games and lost without TO
TO got to Philly and they darn near went undefeated in 14 games. 13-1 with TO. They were a different team with him. Yes they held down the fort for a few games without him. Big deal.
We havent proven we can do that.
That SB loss was ALL on McChunky and his 3 or 4 INTs.... or was he forcing the ball to TO also?
