Been avoiding the Zone since around 4:30pm EST Sunday because I figured the sky had dropped & all hell broke loose due to the debacle that was the last 30mins of Sunday's game! Just wondering if all the female-dogging & moaning has eased up after a couple of cool-down days! Please don't get me wrong, I'm as pissed as everyone else but I'm not ready to take my ball & go home quite yet! I still have faith in Red, #9, & the rest of the Boys (when healthy) to make some noise this season. Am I alone in my beliefs or has the torch-n-pitchfork crowd overtaken our fanbase???

You might wanna hide out some more until the weekend ;)

Just kidding.

Maybe. :)

No. Really. You may want to wait until next weekend....

I want us to win, die-hard Cowboys fan for life, but I don't have faith in any team unless they prove they can be consistent.

I say another 3 weeks until the Rams game. The pats game isn't gonna be pretty.

Sadly, ca, I think ur right by looking at the threads! Only Romo could go from goat, to hero x2, then goat again! Damn I hope he gets Dallas back to championship status while he's under center because no one player has ever been so scrutinized (not saying he doesnt deserve it...but it shouldnt be this extreme) when wearing that Star, IMO! If Steve Young had the proverbial monkey on his back in the 90s then Romo has King Kong & Mighty Joe Young on his!!!

It'll never be safe here.

"It's all the same, only the names have changed"

;)

Let's see if the essence of the board can be captured:

  1. Jerry Jones should fire the entire team if they don't make the playoffs - Playoffs or Layoffs,

    1. Jason Garrett cannot manage a game and is on a short leash to prove himself,

      1. Tony Romo cannot win a big game,

        1. All games that Tony Romo plays are big games when they lose,

          1. All big games they lose are because of Tony Romo,

            1. Tony Romo cannot win a SB,

              1. Tony Romo is as good as any current SB QB... no, he's not

                1. Jerry Jones should trade Tony Romo while he still has trade value,

                  1. Jerry Jones will hire Andrew Luck next year,

                    1. The Cowboys will win the SB next year without Tony Romo,

                      1. See Number 1

Casmith07, does that about sum it up?

In Summary, very little logic and quite a bit of emotion

The weirdest thing ever happened after this loss. 4 guys who are almost constantly negative, are defending Romo, Garrett, and the team.

I keep checking my head for large bumps, and asking if we are in the Twilight Zone.

I also had to stay away until now, but the sky is not falling yet for me...

It was an epic loss, but, in order for it be the epic loss that it was, we first had to be up 27-3 vs a pretty good team... Maybe Romo is getting this out of his system early this year, but will play his best late in the season... The good news is that Tony looked pretty healthy on Sunday... And the defense held up pretty good against a good offense...

Bottom line, we're still only a game out of first place, and 1-0 in the division...

Female-dogging & moaning after an unprecedented collapse? How gauche and uncivilized!

When the going gets tough ... certain homers take a powder.

Just give people time to heal. Rob Ryan said the loss to the Jets took him till Thursday to get over. This one should last till Saturday, lol. Not all losses are created equal. This one was the worst of the worst.

The only thing this team has consistently shown in a while is that, win or lose, its games are going to be close.

If I'd have kept that in mind against Detroit, I might have felt better. ... Nah.

I do think when we get all the parts back that might change, but until I see different, I expect all of our games to go down to the wire for the good and bad.

When the team wins, certain self proclaimed realists disappear, only to appear again when the team loses too.

Just balancing out your fact with the counter facts.

You are not alone by a long shot, but I can't believe the amount of whining that goes on after a loss lately. Ya, that last one really stung but it happened. And for all of those that insist on the non stop whine fest, ***** all you want, it is not going to change the final score and you will piss off a lot of people on this forum in the process.

Been doing the same but for different reasons... I don't trust myself to resist the urge to go off on certain players due to one loss so I stay away from here to ensure that doesn't happen. By next week, I will be back to realizing that it's truly only one game and rooting for that 10-6 season that I still feel they will achieve.

I agree..

They even made a song about Romo here in Houston. It's horribly bad and yet, what can you do. The morning DJ is a Cowboys fan and I believe he took off the past two days to avoid their ribbing. The hate for the Cowboys knows no boundaries.

As I was walking out of the stadium I was telling myself: "Man your gonna have to stay away from Cowboyszone until after the bye week.

I just couldnt do it.
