Richards is being groomed to be the swing tackle because Edoga is oft injured.

He’s a third round pick. Stop giving these players such unrealistic expectations and you’ll stop being so devastated when they don’t meet them

Beebe has been doing well. He does need to improve shotgun snaps which has improved already. This has to do with a coach who doesn't want to put the rookies on 1st team yet.

Guard is a position with a very long learning curve. It makes sense that a vet could be well ahead of a rook, even if the vet's kind of a scrub.

CB will be the long-term starter at center by midyear. Hoffman buys him some time.

I'm glad they are opening up the position to fair competition between players. in the past, it seemed as though draft picks got preferential treatment.

It wouldn't hurt for Beebe to sit a year and learn the position as a pro.

Nope. Best man wins the job.

Beebe was widely considered to be one of the most rock-solid IOL prospects in the draft, and he was still a good pick whether he starts immediately or not.

Sounds like Hoffman is off to a great start. Is it the worst thing if Beebe does not start and works on his snaps and other nuances of the position and next year fights it out with Hoffman or is the possible slide in replacement for Martin if he retires or we do not resign?
People on the board, YouTubers and local media seem to pick their favorites. Guyton, Hoffman and Damone Clark have been outstanding in camp but they get little fanfare. All some want to do is crap on Lance and complain about Bebe not getting first team snaps. I hope Overshown is good but some YouTuber has him in the Hall of Fame. Let’s let these guys play in the regular season and cheer for them as Cowboys players.

It doesn't matter who starts, as long as they positively contribute to winning football games.
