Is it wrong I’m not bummed out about Prescott being out for part of the season?

What you're feeling OP, is that realization that players come and go, some good, some great, some terrible, and yet the Jones family remains.

Those players are just window dressing. No real winning will take place with the old fool and his son helming the ship.

Long term:

this may be the best for the cowboys

It's natural to want to watch a QB who can play, or has room to grow into a great player. Dak is what he is by now, and he is getting worse. Whatever the reason, he's not elevating anyone, and he certainly isn't going to elevate our scrubs.

No. It’s not wrong. The cowboys were not winning a championship this year anyway. It was never going to happen because the front office is totally inept and has a horrific off season.

So what does it matter that Dak is hurt now. It doesn’t.

I just wish we had some type of young rookie QB, even a 5th rounder or something, to get excited about. I know Rush and Grier are not starting caliber NFL QBs. At least give me something for the imagination

The MAJOR Dak issue is the contract - they’d have to do some serious CAP magic to get rid of him.

Feel bad for him, but I was already thinking this was 7-10 team and I was not even looking forward to the season. Bring on April!

Honestly, after what you saw tonight do you think it would make a difference if he wasn't? I mean, I'm sorry he got hurt like that but.....

It's not wrong. It's fine. Move on. Watch the college QBs coming out this year so you can see who is who and hope that the GM accidentally drafts the right one because you sure as hell know he won't get it right on his own.

I feel like it’s a nice slap to the back of the head of Jerry. Like actually do your job and get the players you keep saying you have. Meh.

No, it's not wrong.

You are probably still in shock from the game.

You'll recover the minute you see Cooper Rush playing behind this O-line.

Dak played like crap because he was coddled and not forced to play during the preseason, especially with this group of talentless receivers and a ****** starting Oline. You could have had Aaron freaking Rodgers back there, and he would have **** the bed as well.
