I didn’t say the Cowboys are good but San Francisco was way more disappointing and some seem to ignore that.

What is your opinion of Tet McMillan. He is starting to fall to the Cowboys in mock drafts.

Man, I really like McMillan. Like, a lot.

Give me some T-Mac with Lamb on the same offense. Our TEs would improve.

I like Jeanty, but I almost want to argue that T-Mac is better value at the pick. It's also very likely T-Mac will be a high level player for years to come.

I really like his skillet for the NFL.

That didn’t translate to the pros for Zeke beyond his rookie season.

He has just five (5) runs of 40+ yards in 2,319 career carries. Four of those came his rookie year.

Barkley had seven (7) of the runs 2024 alone.

Murray was absolutely known for his breakaway speed at OU.

- Zeke had a short lived career, becuz Boy Genius Red Garrett decided to make Zeke a carbon copy type of Emmitt Smith of the 90's .

- Garrett basically had him bulked up ..and beaten up.

- He would rarely sub Zeke, after the likes of backup Alfred Morris and DMAC departed., and we were faced with scrub Rod Jones
And even when we drafted Tony Pollard to try to ease the load on Zeke - who had to take on rushing, catching and blitz-blocking after his rookie year
(which he served 6 game suspension his 2nd year) .. We would barely even play Pollard becuz our coaches were stuck in their ways and frighten of Pollard.

- Some guys just are made up differently, and take more of a toll wear than others. RB Chris Johnson was a 4.2 speed guy entering the NFL, but the likes of coaches like
Mike Munchak just beat and wore him up until he was a fazed out 4.6 guy and no longer a scary threat.

- If Murray were an explosive breakaway back at the NFL level, he would have likely got the big contract he wanted here in Dallas,.. instead Cap Boy tried to low ball him,
and thus he darted to Philly, failed there and then finished his career at Tennessee in helping groom Derrick Henry as heir apparent..
Despite a still existing single season record and the 2nd longest TD run in Cowboys history ( vs Rams, worst run defense in NFL at the time)

The Jones had a philosophy (they even referenced it in interviews after letting him walk) of not paying RBs in their late 20s.

Beyond that, you’re missing the obvious…he signed a big contract with the Eagles.

He wasn’t a fit with the Eagles offense under Chip Kelley at the time. How do we know that? Because he proceeded to rip off a ~1,300 yard season with the Titans, including runs of 67 and 75 yards (and another 75-yarder his last season before retiring).

He was explosive throughout his entire career; something Zeke wasn’t.

Was Emmitt coming out of college? I see some similarities. He has exceptional vision. He has the ability to make tacklers miss him. He has fantastic balance through contact. He has surprising power. And he may not have great speed, but still can house it.

He may not be generational, but he has the chance to be very, very good and possibly better than what Elliott turned into after a promising start. Elliott took the things that made him special and got too focused on size and power. I don't know if that was on the coaching staff or on him.

NO! Not even close

Well the raiders have more issues to fix than Cowboys. They need RB, WR, QB and probably everything else except for a TE. Darnold seems to be favorite to go there but they have to be looking at Shedur also. Darnold needs an OL. As good as he can throw the ball, he is a total mess when under pressure. Not sure what the Raiders OL looks like but Carroll likes to run the ball and play defense. Free agency will probably determine what direction they may be going in the draft.

Speaking of Carroll. His previous team has 2 decent RBs and Walker might be on his last year. Wonder if he might be angling for a nice contract extension and holdout that might get him on the trade block. I know Turpin is fast but cowboys need some speed in the offense be it at WR or RB. Walker would bring that.

Mark my words.. Jeanty is special. My comp for him is LaDanian Tomlinson.

Clearly....people don't watch much Boise St. football.....and if you only saw their bowl game...then I can't blame you....because Penn St. clearly had a plan on stopping Jeanty 1st. And even in that game....he still flashed a few times making guys miss.

you look at the top ten all time single season NCAA rushing leaders and its fifty fifty as regards who shines in the pros. Barry Sanders holds the record so there is that; Jeanty is second. But looking down the list like I said its got several players like Melvin Gordon. It also had Derrick Henry and Marcus Allen.
So its not a sure thing.
