But why should Jerry say he is or isn’t initiating trade talks? I don’t care about the talks
I prefer just hearing if we signed someone worth it and will help the team do better .. anything else is just background noise

At least LB and DB makes more sense to me than a RB like Henry.

The Cowboys need to get better at CB. This was a weakness exploited by SF.

I think LB is also obvious, although we have yet to see Evans play so who knows what he brings. Maybe Dallas has seen him in practice and doesn't like what they see. Perhaps they just want more depth after losing Overshown and LVE to injury and Cox and Harper to waivers.

I am not a big fan of "Fish" but it would not be a bad strategy by Jerry to claim he is not interested when in fact he is looking for a bargain out there. When negotiating a deal, never let the other guy know you are desperate.

Our front office - let's see....we got a RB who has never ever been a featured back, has never consistently had to bear the load of carrying the ball and running up the middle.......by god that's our feature back right there.

I am 100% prepared for trade rumors to heat up and swirl, and then for nothing to happen and we will then be hit with the:

“we looked hard at making some moves, but the cost was prohibitive and besides, we like our guys” routine

as it is for about 30 other teams this year and I mean let's pick on Jerry's cause the easy thing to pick on Jerry but yet here we are talking about Jerry these trade rumors by the way were not started by Jerry as a matter of fact all this stuff heats up because fans think their GM's fans like to spread rumors and then social media content creators feed off it so they know what the right to get everybody lathered up they know how to click bait your weak minded individuals yes because if you get your chain pull it means you set yourself up with an expectation that most teams will not satisfy it is naughty mystery that most teams don't go out making big moves throughout the year they set their roster if they have injury issues they go fill it that's exactly what Philadelphia did by the way don't act like they just went out there and got two dudes in their prime that's gonna set them off all the way to the Super bowl for a Super Bowl win these dudes were picked up for late round picks they're at the end of their careers they are solid pickups but the Dallas Cowboys have done this as well they've got an amari Cooper which is the same type of trade for A.J. Brown they went and got hankins and bar and Ty Hilton and Jason Peters all these other things like Xavier Rhodes the fill needs when they actually literally saw they had an issue they went and brought in some players it's not different this is what most teams do they don't go make big trades throughout the year because you know why draft picks are very important in this third round draft pick we can go get a prime young RB with pick like that.. The others are all ridiculous they're pipe dreams Patrick certain could never fit on this team he's gonna want the big bag we just paid Trayvon diggs we have duron gland we also have a stable of safeties that just got paid and more on the come up we have talent in the backfield if you wanna add a corner you do it in the draft again you don't give up all that capital and what for a rental you think we're gonna be able to pay Patrick certain $25 million/? Same with devante Adams it doesn't fit it doesn't even make sense these dudes truly were never even available this is again social media this is the fans never once does Jerry come out and say they plan on bringing in someone and then pull the carpet out they bring in people when they feel they need to and that's what GM's do around the league they just don't make moves just to make a move without thinking about the future..
