Rivera needs to go- he is done. Put Steinbach there and watch the difference. Kosier was pretty good and Columbo with another offseason to get stronger and better. The Hotel played pretty good last half- and we have that kid McQ to look at. With a real top quality guard like Steibach I think the line could actually be good.

I think Bill likes what Rivera brings in terms of teaching the young guys and leading the OL unit. He just isn't there physically any more. I'd like to see us find a replacement but keep him around as a backup.

I'm not sure he should get blame for Rivera's back injury after he was signed. Everyone wanted Wahle instead, but I'm not sure he was lights out in Carolina.
