I remember reading last year that Kendricks wanted to retire but he came back for the season play for Zimmer.

I think Kendricks just wants to be retired even if he hasn’t officially filed retirement paperwork.

I think people forget the main reason Zimmer brought Kendricks in last year was his familiarity with Zimmer's defense.

Eberflus did the same thing with bringing in Sanborn.

I'm not saying Kendricks isn't a good player, I'm just pointing out that there's a reason for why those two signings were made.

True, and I believe Sanborn is playing Mike which is where Kendricks would play. Murray was the bigger issue (not that Sanborn played well). Probably a tall task for Kendricks to come in and play in the Middle, tough Murray was calling the signals. I think Sanborn has more of a chance to show up than Murray, who was never very good.

Can we stop having all the overreaction posts we have linebackers that can just swap snap counts liafu and it will be game two in a new defense so I would like maybe to see three or four games before we start telling at the whole world that all our linebackers are terrible all our running backs are terrible everything's terrible about the Cowboys we need a whole bunch of new things after one game..

Now what we need is a few adjustments and I'm sure they have watched a lot of film since the end of that Eagles game and they're going to see who earned more snaps and who's going to get less...

Imagine many changes are gonna come even if they're really small and not as noticeable after our defensive coordinator sees what happened in game one he knows who didn't play well and who did not from the fans perspective and I'm sure he'll make changes or he'll already have warn Murray that if he keeps playing like Jalen Smith then he's gonna get pulled..

Right that's insane like they think coaches would purposely let their team look like crap make themselves look like crap possibly get themselves fired like Mike Nolan did just the same face no they built the roster and they have players they can utilize more than game one they will figure out a way to make it better.... I prefer to see about four games before I start making all these posts about we need another running back we need another linebacker this didn't look good that didn't look good yeah it was game one on the road against the championship Eagles in which we almost won the game.... it was supposed to be a blowout but now everyone's overreacting..

Sanborn was slow as heck last week especially on that last third down run by Hurts. Awful.

Your statement only makes sense if Kendricks was the sole guy on the field playing defense and there was no one else. We are fast to claim that Dak Prescott needs weapons, protection, a pacifier and a fresh diaper on every snap etc. But a single guy on defense gets blamed for everything that went wrong with the defense.

Eric Kendricks is definitively available. He would certainly perform better than who we currently have starting. Don't know why this coaching staff has not called him yet.

Kendricks, Ja’Whaun Bentley. Either or both would make too much sense for Jerry.
