Is KeVante Turpin on the hot seat?

I think Dallas is in a fortunate position where they have some viable young talent at WR. They should lighten the load on Turpin offensively and let him focus on being a special returner. He belongs on the 53.

It seems to me that as soon as Dallas increased Turpin's offensive workload he became less dangerous as a returner. The change in special teams coach also probably led to Turpin and to a degree Aubrey taking steps back.

Let Turpin concentrate on being a game changer in the return game. He can have his set of offensive plays here and there but, let the other receivers on the roster handle offensive duties.

If you see good play from Mingo and he is returning punts again. It would make sense to trade Turpin. I could see Izzy or Blue being the kickoff return guy and then they could do without Turpin. If Miami would take Turpin and a 3rd for Thomas, I would do it.

Who else is even a returner? They had Holden out there and he’s cut now. If one of the young guys flashed as a returner it would be a different story.

Mingo and Downs for punt returns. Izzy and Blue for kickoff returns. Easy peasy.
