I don't think he will be. I know that we switched schemes and all but the D has had a big hand in giving away games at the end. The only positive is takeaways and that hasn't proved to help all that much. I know this has been said a million times but I think our D is too talented to be the worst in the league. I still think Carr is a great corner and Mo can be. We have good LB's and decent DB's. We just need more pressure on the QB to allow our corners to shine. Maybe Kiffin gets another year but I think his D is dated and he's run out of ideas. Who would we replace him with? Could Marinelli do better? Think about what our record would be if we had a couple of studs to rush the QB and lineman who could actually push? We need Crawford back and a good draft. I guess I'm trying to find something to look forward to. lol

I agree that Kiffin will be gone. I'm not sure he'd even want to stay around at his age.

I sure hope not.

I still think it stinks we changed from the 34.

Could have hired Todd Bowles and stayed in the 3-4.

I feel like more than anything the Lions game was injuries catching up with Dallas. At some point you run out of d-linemen who can come in off the street and contribute, add to that injuries to Wilcox, Claiborne, and Church in the secondary I have a hard time blaming anyone too heavily.

our D has been giving up games for years, not like we just started this one.

it was just always more "in vogue" to blame romo.

Lovie sucks, he's soft is not a leader & has no skills of picking a coaching staff especially offensively. (Marinelli excluded they worked together in Tampa)

What do you base this on? The coaching staff he picked in Chicago helped guide the Bears to multiple winning seasons including a SB appearance. Second, there are not many offensive masterminds that can make Rex Grossman, Kyle Orton and yes Jay Cutler look like John Elway.

We have a depleted Dline and had safeties that are rookies. This scheme relies on a dline that can rush the passer and safeties that are ballhawkers. If Kiffen is going to be fired next year than Marinelli is going to take over. They're going to use him as a scapegoat when we end up with a record of 8 and 8 and will miss the playoffs once again. Kiffen isn't the problem. I think its the lack of passrushers. Ware is injured and we lost Rat and Spencer. Its hard to change a defense when you don't have the right people in place.

I hope he is, but if not, I hope they give the next DC a pass rush. Picking up guy after guy off their couch is not a strategy, anymore than signing guys to extension who are hurt or don't want to play.

The entire 2014 draft should be all O and D line.
