I'm just going to state my opinion.

McNabb is a very good quarterback. Right now, he isn't. It's not just his mobility that's been effected, it's his ability to plant on his knee and throw an accurate deep ball.

Philly has good recievers. No stars, but about 4 or 5 quality recievers that compliment each other well.

Right now, if Garcia was in Philly, he'd be a better starter than McNabb.

Right now, if Feeley was healthy, he'd be a better starter than McNabb.

McNabb will be back, but I don't see it happening this year.

I'm now on board with the Kolb pick, but he won't start until 2009 at the earliest

I will go with what Barkley said..."It's time for McPuke to just get out of that town...go somewhere else and try to revamp his career"...

He looked flat out terrible...however, that's been going on for a couple of years now...

He's overrated...(pre or post injury)...

I actually thought he was moving pretty well towards the end of the game...as far as mobility....but his throws were pretty off. Then one at the end where he missed a wide open Curtis really hurt. You can tell...he's just not right yet.

But a healthy McFlabb is a pretty dang good QB.

Wasn't he like 15-19 for like 180 yards in the 4th quarter?

He is still overrated, but he's still a solid QB. I'm sure the injury is still effecting him a bit.

Yeah-he was better than I expected in the 4th-but the playcalling was nonetheless suspect, even WITH Marty M calling the plays.

I always wonder if McNabb even understands the WCO decently-when Garcia was in there, everyone said how "Reid finally got it when he balanced the O with the run game" last year-but that's WHAT the WCO is-establish the uptempo short passing game, then the run opens up-McNabb just doesn't have it for this O.

You have a point TunaFan, McNabb isn't ideally fit for the WCO.

He has a very strong arm, pretty good accuracy on deep balls. But his short accuracy is only so so and his intermediate accuracy is pretty bad. He also doesn't like to make the quick throw, holds the ball to long. He's cautious but sometimes too much

He's clearly not healthy and his WR's are, and have been, terrible. Put the 2 together, and you get a pretty unaffective passing game. He looked as bad as I've ever seen him.

Pretty much sums it up, when he had TO he was a different player throwing the ball very effectively. I don't understnad why the Eagles have failed to give him a good crop of receivers around him.

His play has been a reflection of his health and lack of talent at the receiver position.

The eagles gave him T.O., remember that?

McPunk could not stand that the spotlight was getting taken away from him and giving to T.O., so he degrades T.O. somewhat with the in huddle "shut the f up" to T.O., and the "we can win without him"...and times when he would not throw to T.O. to spite T.O. because "this is my football team, not yours"...

Naw, he had his chance and as usual, threw it all up...

I'm sure Reid gave his usual "this one is on me, the coaching wasn't good enough" speech and he's actually right this time. Reid didn't help McNabb out at all. The Skins were pressing your receivers all night and he never used any motion. Even T.O. has a difficult time with press coverage. He also didn't run enough . . . again. Westbrook almost had hundred and Buckhalter gets one carry. Obviously McNabb is struggling and was inaccurate, but your coach didn't help him at all.

Personally I thought the playcalling was good enough in the first half, but largely because of McNabb's mistakes we were kind of forced to pass more in the second half. That's not exactly an excuse for the playcalling, I just think it had alot less to do with the loss than McNabb's poor play did.
