Is Miami a possibillity for a trade??

I think people finally realized he is done.

Ohh and he pretty much is, but Jerry does not know that for sure and that's why he hasn't totally discounted on calling TG to see where he is at. His knee is no more damaged than that last playoff game against the Giants and they put him on the field then. He wasn't in shape this offseason and to tell you the truth it doesn't sound like Glenn is hungry to play. Eventhough he said he'd sign the split contract in the end Jerry is giving off the impression that Glenn was just going to find away again to sit out and eat another 500K while sourcing injury problems. It's more that he's not in football shape from not working hard and his current mentality than the knee. The knee is 50/50 he can play as long as he worksto get in shape.

Remember, Glenn made it public that he was willing to sign the split contract because his body was telling him it's that timeof year. He was trying to sendout a signal to the team and any other team that he was willing to train hard now. Jerry could have had himsigned twice, he just didn't think Glenn was in shape. If he was totally injured even Sporano would have said there isno way he can play with that knee. No he said he wasn't in shape. Gleen has one more shot to prove he's in shape and he won't be, that's why he is pretty much done. Jerry would have said "no, TG's knee will not allow him to play" when asked about calling Glenn if it was mostly the knee problem as opposed to the being in shape issue.

The only other reason Jerry didn't say Yes or No is because he may be looking to trade for another WR and doesn't want to seem likehe is either desperate or has no options other than the trade. Anyhow, I guess this would now be a different post all together, but the Ginn talk pretty much should go hand in hand here with the TG talk ainse you're looking at the sametype of wideout, better production out of TG and less to give up to get, lol. Hope I didn't break any rules.

Nice Sig. I'm jealous...

:p::D

There are two problems with this idea...

1) Ginn would NEVER garner the same amount of respect in a trade as Walker did.

2) There are not stupid Vikings management teams around anymore willing to give up that much for one player anymore.

I just read where Miami has two offensive tackles on their roster, and they are looking for depth at the position. If Jerry can burn all the tape on James Martin and turn into Yoda, he may be able to send Parcell's "cookie cutter" tackle back to him for a pick.

Ireland might have claimed Marten if Dallas cut him. That is probably why he didn't get whacked.

It would be nice to get a pick back for him, even a 7th rounder.

He is as fast but the guys he is now playing against are a lot faster then the ones in college, so it just appears he is slower. That is a bad thing for a player who made his rep on his speed; you get to the pros and just about everyone is faster and quicker then 90% of the guys you played against in college.
Reggie Bush is the best current example of that. He was awesome in college- just above average in the pros so far, with an OCCASIONAL great play.

Like you said, so far. Give these guys time. They're in their 3rd and 2nd seasons. Let them realize how to run at this level, and you'll see, they're still faster.

Thats the problem. he refuses to draft a WR in the First round.he's had chance after chance to do it.he does not think it's a big deal. and he's wrong.
You're talking about a guy who gave up two of them for Joey Galloway.
