Is Micah a very poor man’s Fred Warner?

Clearly, Micah isn’t big or strong enough to bang with good offensive lines and totally ineffective against top ol’s.

I could see Micah switch to more of a center fielder role like Warner but not sure Micah is smart enough for it. Warner changes every single aspect of the game in addition to teams not even using the middle of the field.

Micah facing 330 lb OT is a mismatch unless he can use his speed to beat them. The 49ers game plan last night was to hit Micah as often as possible. I thought matching him againsts the 49ers best OT was a mistake. He should have been on the other sides trying to take advantage of the 49ers worst OT.

Micah's main asset is speed and good teams have mitigated that asset, turned it against him. Micah needs to attack the back from the MLB position some. I think if he focused on the RB being his #1 target he'd make the play instead of blowing right by him.

Micah wants to be a pass rusher because he knows that's where the money is, but if his desire to cash out on his second contract wasn't the driving force, he'd be better off as an off ball LB who occasionally blitzes.

It's insane to ask a 250lb to tangle with 325lb OTs for 75 snaps a game.

People say absolutely crazy things when teams lose games. Micah is the best edge player in the league, Warner is the best off-ball LB in the league. They don't play the same position and aren't asked to do any of the same things lol

We're acting like the 9ers are superhuman. Here's Warner getting absolutely ragdolled by Tyler Smith (and one of the worst runs you will ever see by a RB)

Micah, if stays healthy, is another DeMarcus Ware. That's not a bad thing at all. Potential HOF career if he keeps it up.

But we can stop the LT talk now. Big players play big in big games. Have yet to see it from #11. He's an undersized DE. You want dominance in all facets, watch Bosa who played us.

Wow zero blocking on the perimeter.

What? The play is blocked almost perfectly. Ferguson smashed his guy on the edge, Luepke and Tolbert both have a seal, Tyron has an easy kickout on the CB, Tyler hammered the MLB and Martin engaged the backside LB.

This should have been a house call, or very close to it, by just following blocks. TP ran the wrong way.

Micah's better, he is playing out of position.
I been saying it since 2021 that he shouldn't be a full time rusher. Problem is he's not that good of a linebacker so we're kinda forced to play him at the edge. Unless he's gotten better after 3 years diagnosing plays. He's also not necessarily a "sudden" player for that MLB position but as long as he can diagnose you can live with him not hitting like Warner/Devin White.

Nice play. Thanks for posting something positive. Now just have to find a few more Tylers on that OLine.

This is a great example
Micah is better than Warner
Just the sheer lack of basic understanding of football. Micah is better than Warner but Warner is not a LB trying to get paid by playing DE like Micah is. Play 2 real DEs and play Micah at MLB and see how great he can be
