Is Micah a very poor man’s Fred Warner?

I gotcha. I think we have some players with that type of mentality. Problem is our best defenders don't. Warner has it and he's an all pro. Micah/dlaw/diggs aren't that type unfortunately
Man, if we could just find us 1 guy like that...just a nasty defender like that, we might have something. I never see warner running his mouth. He just leads by his play.

I was impressed with both #54 and #57, wish some of our players had that nasty in them. Anyway Micah might get his chance at LB now that LVEs out.....at least thats the word on the street,

Clearly, Micah isn’t big or strong enough to bang with good offensive lines and totally ineffective against top ol’s.

I could see Micah switch to more of a center fielder role like Warner but not sure Micah is smart enough for it. Warner changes every single aspect of the game in addition to teams not even using the middle of the field.
Totally different players. Warner is a complete LB and someone offenses fear. I don’t think teams fear running the ball at Micah. Hes turning into a very one dimensional finesse pass rusher. . If he can’t get to the qb, he’s invisible. I don’t see him laying the wood to anyone like Warner does. He’s kinda light in the pants and not super physical.

Yup. He's a drag em down linebacker. Reminds me of Saquan as a defender. Saquan is like 230 and doesn't run people over with power. Micah is one of the biggest/fastest linebackers but lacks explosion on impact to ball carriers.

Micah, if stays healthy, is another DeMarcus Ware. That's not a bad thing at all. Potential HOF career if he keeps it up.

But we can stop the LT talk now. Big players play big in big games. Have yet to see it from #11. He's an undersized DE. You want dominance in all facets, watch Bosa who played us.
Give me one player on the front 7 that is a good as Banks and Marshall were for the Giants?

Micah facing 330 lb OT is a mismatch unless he can use his speed to beat them. The 49ers game plan last night was to hit Micah as often as possible. I thought matching him againsts the 49ers best OT was a mistake. He should have been on the other sides trying to take advantage of the 49ers worst OT.
Can we mention no game time adjustments......I don't get it. DQ, this isnt working out so far, lets figure it the hell out and not continue doing the same thing the entire game.

He’s basically a speed rusher.

That harkens back to the old JG mantra “we believe in our preparation “. So adjusting mid game is akin to admitting a mistake. That’s part of the loser culture that permeates the team and prevents it from taking a step forward.

I love Micah, but my issue with him is that he saves all his talking for after the game and off the field. Agree with others in this thread, please stop with the LT comparisons.

Fred is a leader and the heart beat of a defense.

Micah is just a solo playmaker and game changer

Micah is a gifted athlete, Warner is also gifted but has a mean streak in him, reminds me of some old school LB's. Would love to have him on the Cowboys.

Parsons has been exposed by both Arizona and the 9ers and their game plans took him completely out of those games. Unfortunately, for us he hasn't played enough games at LBer to be a force there, not like Warner is, he's the ultimate beast at that position. Now it's going to be up to Quinn to where he can get the best out of this kid. The Cowboy's D-Line is a joke if Parsons can't do his thing, that's because no one else who plays on the line is doing squat to take the pressure off of Parsons!!!!!!!!! There are so many holes to plug on this sinking ship and that it might be best to just let it sink and start over, but that's not going to happen with JJ still above ground. He doesn't have enough time to see a rebuild start to finish and he's too selfish to start a rebuild and let his idiot sons see it through........................

I think Micha is great but stop comparing him to LT or any other player. He is not physically big enough to take the pounding at DE. He is a hybrid pass rusher and can also play LB.
