Shannahan knew he had to stop one guy yesterday and did it with ease especially when the other teams offense can’t move the ball and can’t score. It’s was night night early for Micah, he is a one man show in the front 7

Let's not confuse the lack of production from the rest of the defense with Parsons.

Warner has a better Dline in front of him. Their DTs can actually push the A gap. Just look at our DTs outside of Osa. No push whatsoever and that's with one OL blocking majority of the time. Can't even get the double team respect on our inside game on defense. If we had DTs that would command a double team more consistently, then our edge guys and LBs would have more success.

Lol Pollard is far from awesome, one of the best decisions made this off season was not giving him a long term contract. I'm no Zeke fan, dude was garbage. You don't give running backs second contracts
Who are the NFL RBs right now that are just amazing?

Chill.. Pollard is one of the best in the NFL. Easily top 5 RB.

Micah facing 330 lb OT is a mismatch unless he can use his speed to beat them. The 49ers game plan last night was to hit Micah as often as possible. I thought matching him againsts the 49ers best OT was a mistake. He should have been on the other sides trying to take advantage of the 49ers worst OT.
The same way tj and all them do but are still active

Fred Warner is a thug, but I wish he was our thug. He's that dude we need.

Clearly, Micah isn’t big or strong enough to bang with good offensive lines and totally ineffective against top ol’s.

I could see Micah switch to more of a center fielder role like Warner but not sure Micah is smart enough for it. Warner changes every single aspect of the game in addition to teams not even using the middle of the field.
I thought I read here that he was the second coming of LT and our defense was comparable to Doomsday.. sacrilegious.

Lol why use that word though? Were the old school players who were clothlining people thugs? Using that word wrong buddy
huh? Yes..but it was LEGAL. Things have changed, but I luv thuggish style players. It sets the tone. I mean the word thug as a compliment. So try not to be a kevin. Btw, . Ken Norton Jr, , Randy White, Ed Jones, Harvey Martin, Leon Lett, Charles Haley, Erik Williams, Larry Allen all thugs...meaning...equalizers. Tone setters. Billy Bates is another.

Micah is a twitter user, a pass rusher, a disguiser of inefficiency on defense, and a fix all defender that is receiving no help. And soon to be viciously maligned on this very board when rookie contract is up.
It’s already happening. It started with people dog whistling about how he should know his place. Now it will be extend to his gameplay.

Tank experienced the same thing.

I told y’all, Micah needs to play 25-30% of his snaps at LBer…. Good OC can get around one player. Micah’s best quality is he is a big time playmaker, let him get to the ball.

You throw a good offensive line out there with a halfway decent OC and more often than not Micah is going to get "schemed" out of the game. He has no signature games against elite teams. That's why he's going to continue to find himself on the outside looking in on those DPOY talks, when the bullies roll up on the block like SF and Philly he doesn't deliver. Juxtaposed with Fred Warner who completely blew up the game last night.

I gotcha. I think we have some players with that type of mentality. Problem is our best defenders don't. Warner has it and he's an all pro. Micah/dlaw/diggs aren't that type unfortunately
