Is Micah getting spoiled

I think he is clearly injured.. I think the niggles are adding up.. oppo coaches are scheming him out of the game and so far Quinn hasn't been able to adjust our scheme. It also isn't helping that our secondary is getting burned (also not helped by key injuries) and thus the pass rush becomes wasted as the QB can usually find open receivers quickly.

I also don't like him lining up on the line and it gives the oline a chance to double him/chip him/hold him. I'd like to see a few more stunts and let him go and make plays.

I don't think it is arrogance/spoiled.. I think just a combination. He is a stud.. now we just got to find ways to make hay

I like Micah Parsons ..but truth be told.

He is not a 4 3 linebacker
He could be a 3 4
Social media and free agency has ruined this game...And this country.

I don't think he is a prima donna yet, but I do wonder if he got too much too soon and he gets frustrated when he doesn't get sacks or make big plays. I hope I am wrong but I hope he has not exchanged his love of football for the love of adoration.
Ouch this one hurts.. I hope that’s not the case.

Has he been sipping on the Kool-Aid and become a primadonna....I hope not, but it seems like the fame has gone to his head.
I have been saying put him back at MLB on run downs. Allow his physical play to lead the defense with strong run support and getting back to fundamentals focus.

He is not doing drugs, raping housekeepers, drinking and driving or beating his wife as far as we know, so he is doing awesome. Nothing wrong with being confident or bragging a bit when in sports.

Mr. Yoda, we welcome the fur community.

I don't know. But I am sure that Jerry wants to make the highest paid defensive player in the History of the NFL. Just wait for it.

Tough one. But, I do think Micah has this incredible desire to be the best and excel. While a great thing, I think it also causes him to care more about personal accolades than he should. He also has rabbit ears and responds to way more than he should on SM and now pod casts and with reporters. Sometimes I would just like these guys to just shut the heck up. What happened to just saying "the right thing" and moving on. You don't have to promote the brand every chance you get

Anyone here got any idea what it would be like to be an instant star for the Dallas Cowboys? Can you imagine the interview requests alone?

He does not exhibit prima donna behavior to me. He's been vocal but he arrived on the scene unlike any Cowboy I can recall except maybe Dorsett. It is also easy to forget how young he is and just what he has yet to learn about life.

I do think Parsons invited some of this upon himself because when they discovered he would talk, and quite candidly, he became story #1 for all of these reporters.

I was always impressed with Aikman as a rookie. Someone schooled him on not feeding the animals and if you think he didn't want to talk after getting sacked 11 times and body slammed by the Eagles, think again. Always said the right thing that did not lead to an unwanted line of questioning. I think it was interesting that he was the one that rode in to save Romo from himself when he was speaking his mind. I do think Aikman spent some valuable time listening to Roger talk about how to be the DC QB. And Romo seemed rto respond to Aikman's advice.

Who is in Parson's corner?

Emmitt Smith said he wanted to be the NFL's All Time Leading Rusher. I believe he said it in his rookie year. And, he did it!!

Emmitt knew to limit the hits he took. He shielded himself from big hits and knew to go out of bounds when it was smart. One thing he never got the credit for was being an incredibly intelligent player.

well NO not yet ready to say that.. he came off not playing at all in 20, to being "the guy" in a17 game seasons as rookie and played heavy snaps and slowly moved from LB and pt de to 70% DE and he got dinged up, wore down, and has been sick.

still Parsons is the first player in decades in the NFL to stat their first 2 seasons in the with double digit sacks. add in TFL and Tackles , pressures etc still very impressive.

Id chaulk it up to what most are saying and what i said above.

he simply doesn't have an off switch and played 150% every snaps and its catching up to him. yet, IF this is a slumping Parsons, ill take 10 more please :) maybe Woods was correct hard to go 100% every snap and im sure parsons will find a happy medium.

playing in the redline rpm 60 snaps game with no 20202 season right to what amounts to nearly 2 college season in one as rookie and now here we are at week 15 of his second season..

the coaches need to find way to help protect him from him from himself.

I got lot of flack for calling MP out for forcing his way back into the MN game after it was all but over, MN pulled starters, MP was dinged twice in that game and IMHO selfishly came into go get a sack or too..

he should have sat the rest of that game, never came back in and that not the only one where the game was fully in hand and hes back in trying to get stats.

thats a learning lesson for him, when you have a shot to rest, rest! coaches are more at fault for not hiding his cleats and helmet in those games.
