Has Micah finally become the leader we need him to be, he's sure been saying a lot of the right things here recently. Can we expect him to be a leader all off season, or will the contract negotiations cause problems, or his other obligations be in the way of him being that leader we need him to be?? Please give your thoughts

For $35 million per season I’m sure he’s willing to be anything Jerry wants him to be.

We will see when pay day arrives. Will he take a hometown discount route or will he suck Jerry dry like Dak did? We will see how much the brotherhood means to him when the time comes.

I think he has caught a lot of flak this year and is damage control mode. That shouldn't be confused with him maturing or becoming a leader.

Only opinions that matters is his teammates, and his teammates love him as a leader on defense.
This is like when fans said Romo wasn't a leader because he golfed in the offseason. His teammates said otherwise. Then when we got Dak, all those who were anti-Romo bragged about how Prescott was a leader while Romo was not ... until they all turned against Prescott.

Players generally don't care if you have other offseason interests or if you have a podcast, etc. They care about how you conduct yourself in the locker room and on the field. Fans have no idea about that because most of that stays between the players.

Have to laugh at you praising Micah for "saying the right things "

Aside from graduating high school....saying....the right things....is the easiest thing in the world. Its how manipulators and abusers work.

The lad is regressing!
Just in the past month Micah the Mouth hath impugned the worth and devotion of McCarthy, said of Overshown's emergence that "He ain't No. 11 yet." And lately, shed alligator tears for Overshown's injury (Micah's biggest threat as leader of the D).
Micah, sthu and just tackle!

Regressing where? Parsons has 8.5 sacks and 50 pressures while missing 4 games this season, and the defense has played better with him in the game.

What makes you think its alligator tears for Overshown? or are you just guessing?
