Ive been hearing/seeing this a lot lately.

To the older fans out there that have seen both play in real-time, is Micah on his level?

Hard for me to believe that Micah is on a trajectory to be the GOAT defensive player.

Who cares about what the fans think really. It's about what the guys that play/played the game (and position) and watched both are saying that is telling.

Obviously, he has to keep it up a while, but absolutely he is. Similar demeanor on the field and every bit the play wrecker. Without the cocaine.

Quinn is using him beautifully, too. Those guys are having a blast.

When you consider that LT changed the way offenses played, and thus changed the NFL, it's hard to compare the two. Micah now plays against the schemes that were designed to stop LT. Would LT be nearly as dominant now? Hard to say.

As someone who saw LT's whole career, Micah is on that level. From his rookie year on opponents had to game plan for LT and even if they did many times it really didnt work. Like LT, Micah has taken over games and dominated. The biggest difference between the two IMO is Micah is quicker off the snap and slipperier getting into the backfield. If Micah stays healthy he can be one of the best to ever do it.

Hollywood was the proto type, then LT took it to another level. LT was tough and seemed like his motor never ran out of gas, I'd never seen that type of mentality again until now with Micah.

Micah is scary good and now it seems like he has learned to control that motor, they said yesterday his routine includes breathing exercises that has calmed him from getting over hyped and tired.

Time will tell but right now he is approaching the LT level.

I'm a believer. I got my bottle of anointing oil and rubbed most of it on him already. Trent Williams is no joke. He's tamed our young lion couple of times already. But his mane has grown since then. If he dominates the 49er game, I just might rub the anointing oil on the rest of him! ¡Epa! Lol :D

Potentially yes, but only if he can sustain this effort for the whole season instead of wearing down like he did last year.
He's really focused on training his body in the offseason to last for a whole season so I hope it happens because he is a beast.
