Is Micah really on the level of Lawrence Taylor?

Ive been hearing/seeing this a lot lately.

To the older fans out there that have seen both play in real-time, is Micah on his level?

Hard for me to believe that Micah is on a trajectory to be the GOAT defensive player.

If Tayor wasn't so hyped up on coke most games, he wouldn't be in this conversation. Not saying Taylor wasn't a good player, but the coke had alot to do with it...

I'm no longer comparing MP to any past reference; we have a player that can change the record books.

When MP finally is long gone and his days of total domination are finally coming to a close, MP will be the standard highest comp evaluation possibly to ever play this game, let us all consider that for a moment.

If MP stays on this current level of play he will be the ultimate comp, the leader.

Jerry will make MP the highest payed player in the entire league, probably at current QB comp value.

Maybe I'm exaggerating just a bit, but I won't be upset if Jerry paid MP whatever he wants, maybe the value of the moon.

Don't care, you can never let a talent like this leave.

MP is truly a generational talent; they are extremely rare.

Yeah, but he is the only other person in the defensive GOAT conversation with LT. Those two are all-time greats. Maybe Micah gets there after 10 years in the league.
Bruce Smith, Julius Peppers, Jaren Allen, it's really not that simple.

He plays faster than LT and is just as disruptive. LT could play anywhere on the field in his prime. I’m not ready to anoint him yet but he’s damn close. Damn close.

Some people are saying he’s already there.

I remember LT terrorizing Danny White/Aikman and the league. Micah seems to be a little quicker in the Derrick Thomas mold/LT hybrid. LT was a little bigger and seemed to be more destructive when he hit you but that was also a different era. Growing up in the "lore" of LT, it's hard to imagine our young superstar in that same vein but it's happening.
I am concerned his size will cause him to burn out early

He is now, but longevity will be the key. LT was bigger and withstood the beatings for many years. Let's hope Micah can too. Unless he walks in free agency...lol
He’s not walking away from Dallas, but he’s already said he has a predetermined year he will retire.
