That's an odd observation given the number of Texas players of recent vintage who are making an impact very early in their careers. Off the top of my head, I count Chris Simms, Ricky Williams, Roy Williams, Shaun Rogers, Casey Hampton, Marcus Tubbs, and Nathan Vasher. I couldn't come up with many Sooners, though.

What did all of thsoe guys do their rookie years? Also Mark Clayton, Mark Bradley, Brandon Jones, Brodney Pool, and Jammal Brown all started as rookies. Also Kelly Gregg, Tommie Harris, Stephen Alexander, Teddy Lehman, and the DB for our team all have had pretty good careers.

Williams is having the same problems as our present starting tackles... He's not able to handle speed rushers.
I bet he'd be a lot quicker if he got his weight down, though... I wonder if he wants to be a player enough to lose a bunch? Parcells would demand it, and he'd be better for it..

Lots of UT homers here. Mike Williams has definitely not been what the Bills thought he would be when they drafted him 4th overall. He has a rediculous 8+ million cap figure next year and could be a cap casualty. Any chance there is anything to save there and could he be a RT for us with his texas ties?

He's a million times better than Pettiti...

Bring him in to be our Starting RT and groom Pettiti behind him as the back-up RT.

I think our OLine is still bad with Williams. If we get Adams back and add Williams then I like it. But Williams as our best OT is not much better the Petitti as our best OT.

I'd take him.

It would be a no brainer.

Despite the assurances of some Buffalo Bill haters here, he is better than what we have at right tackle. He has fallen out of favor in Buffalo, but that coaching staff has it's head so far up it's collective backside, I don't wonder why he has struggled.

He has no business playing LT. But as a RT, he might be salvageable. He really needs to lose weight though.

Haven't the Bills trotted him out as the left tackle?

He and Leornard Davis haven't performed to the levels they were expected to when drafted. I wonder if Johnathon Scott will fall into the same category.

Sometimes you can get too big at LT.

Davis is a prime example.

Not everyone can be Orlando Pace on the blindside and even he is a bit overrated.

But any one of these players at right tackle, tell them to turn it loose in the running game and you have yourselves something very nice.

Man, seriously, you have to go with the Bill Parcells approach here.

Isnt Parcells always going on and on about how he is always trying to improve every position on the field. Yeah Yeah, we all know it is BS, with regards to certain players, but man, you gotta take a look at all your options.

Mike Williams is a monster and can still be reached. But at this point, I think we need to draft a OT.

Old MW is enticing though, I gotta say that and I wonder if there will be any interest in him this offseason. Maybe Tuna can get to him like he got to Larry Allen.

It also depends upon what Bledsoe's opinion of him is.

It got both Marcus and Peerless Price jobs.

Hahah, never thought of it that way.

I think the only reason Bledsoe's opinion of him would matter is because he was an ex teammate.

Let's be honest here. Do you guys really want to see another 2nd Round LT come in here, get moved to right, hear all the propoganda out of Valley Ranch stating how great he is and then get held hostage again?

Man, let's go ahead and stop beating around the bush here and get a 1st round tackle.
