No, dude is slow, he is not a running QB. He runs hard, but he ain't running by anybody. The TD was a good design and the defense over committed to the RB. Does he need to keep doing it? Yes. Is it going to be taking us to another level? No, because he just doesn't have the gear that's necessary for it to otherwise we would have seen it before now.

I've yet to actually see something credible that illustrates all of the restrictions on Dak running.

He is just not a classic pocket passer. He’s got to play his style and he’s been in the league long enough to call his own number when he sees an opportunity. He got injured bc he got greedy. He needs to slide before the big hit.

Dak’s skills are limited and these clueless coaches play against his limitations. Clown show. Stay tuned…..
Yup. Know the Dak critics will be all over this as another excuse, but will be sad if dude retires and can count on both hands amount of seasons they tried to take away his best asset.

He's no different than Romo. An athletic QB who overcomes other disadvantages with his ability to make things happen when the pocket breaks down. Like Romo, it will catch up to him, but what's the point of limiting the player?

If you're afraid you'll eat that contract, then don't sign a mobile QB, or draft a 1st rounder with a great arm.

I think the better way to say it is they aren’t the 49ers or eagles - they are a 500 team and we beat them on the road. We win the next 2 and we have something to talk about
Funny...after a loss...lotta people say "it's only one game cool your jets".

After a win we're the bestest and you better respect.

Lets put a streak together. The good kind.

I am still trying to figure out what position do all of you guys play on the team? Do you say we made change when you leave a cashier at the corner store?

Guys, don't be trippin'.. I'm an old school Dak fan that has fallen off the wagon but I will be the first to admit if Dak goes back to what makes him effective he is pretty damn good... He was rolling out and avoiding pressure in two shakes of a lambs tail on monday and that is something he really hasn't done for a long time.. If Dak uses his scrambling ability and throws on the run we are a dangerous team.. If he would of looked to of gotten in space against the 49ers things would of looked very different.. I think he realizes that if he doesn't explore his gifts and unleash them properly without fear he will be nothing but a joke moving forward... I think the light bulb may of gone off, and for all of our sakes lets hope so.

I think you missed the point entirely.

Dak is not, never has been, and never will be Lamar Jackson when it comes to running as a QB. BUT he could be like Aaron Rodgers as a running QB. You know, running in key moments and/or extending drives when defense is not paying attention to the QB or has really good coverage.

This isn't Madden, so you don't need a QB to have 90+ speed to be an effective runner.

Dak was playing like he did as a rookie. Not just the run for gains, but the scrambling to buy time *and then* still throw a strike.
His best quality as a rookie was throwing on the run. He was great at it. The whole night he looked like that guy again. And we can use that guy.

That's what has been needed from him for a long time.
