Claiborne doesn't have the football IQ or the durability to be successful in the NFL. He'll be gone after next year.

Dallas already wasted a 1st and 2nd round on him. No way they trade him yet. He has no value right now. They would be lucky to get a 5th rounder for him right now.

I've seen the potential of Claiborne as a deep cover guy, I've even seen glimpses of a guy willing to come up in run support. Look it's the nfl, everybody is hurt. The problem with him is he doesn't really seem to have the warriors mentality to play through injuries and play consistently week in and week out. I'm willing to give him one more year before final verdict but as it stands now his ceiling is Aaron Ross and I'd love to see him prove me wrong

No way.Not yet. Put a lil more pressure on the qb and our whole secondary improves.

one more strike for claiborne. I can't see him being traded, but anything is possible...

here's to him overcoming his past and becoming the player he is supposed to be.

Oh he's not trying? Please. Injured, yes. Lack of effort? Agenda

Tell that to Broaddus. It's not necessarily on the field effort (all though I've seen him duck making tackles), it's his lack of passion to come back from injuries and play hurt that bothers me and why he was called out by Broaddus multiple times last season.

Haven't heard anything about the OP, but we could never recoup close to what we gave up for him anyway. Doubt we could even get the second rounder we gave up, let alone the 5th overall pick in the draft. Nauseating to think about, actually.

Best hope is that he turns the corner for us this year as it's sunk cost at this point.

The possibility that he plays up to the ability he showed at LSU is worth more than a 3rd round pick.

If offered a high 2nd rounder in this strong draft, I'd seriously consider it. But let's not forget that the guy hasn't had a chance to really getting rolling before some injury has slowed his momentum. When he came back and played v. Philly in Week 17 he was darn good. Still a lot of upside there and he's so young.

Agreed. Don't give up on a young talented player @ a premium position that you invested a 1st and 2nd round pick in. Mo ain't the smartest player, so it may take him until this season to truely "get it"

Idk if this is a rumor. Jets supposedly have called us too about Morris availability.

Claiborne right now isn't worth much. No point in getting rid of him. I'd give him another year. Injuries have been his biggest issue.

lol, reading Saint's Report is eye opening. Every team thinks their 5th round draft pick is worth more to any other team. Just something to keep in mind when we start talking trade value for other teams players and what you think a player on your roster may be worth to someone else.

All that said, they can take their 3rd rounder and shove it where the sun don't shine. How about we give you a 7th for Ingram, that bum.

Not buying into the rumor and even if it where legit would not look to Trade Claiborne. It would really suck trading him only to see him in his 3rd season develop into a top CB. I still beleive the kids can get the job done, just needs to stay on the field and get past these injuries.
