Is Pacman going to be reinstated or what?

It would be ridiculous for Pacman to not be reinstated after sitting out a full year, but you never know with Goodell.

Wow. Does anyone really believe he won't be reinstated, barring any screw ups on his part?
Come on people, the NFL is essentially a gigantic attention *****. Anything that brings them more attention is good for their bottom line.
That could include making him sit out the first game or something to draw out the "drama" a little longer but unless he starts appearing at strip clubs regularly again he will be reinstated.
This whole thing was a done deal before Jerry signed him. Or he wouldn't have.

Isn't the first cut on August 23 with the final cut coming on August 26. I would expect the word to come from the Commish before the last cut; though ESPN Clayton reported maybe 2 weeks ago that Commish would reinstate Pacman before that date to allow Cowboys to make realistic roster decisions.

As long as Jones stays out of trouble he will be reinstated before the reg season until then the mean old commissioner did grant him the right to work with the team and play in the pre-season game so I really don't see any issue here as long as Jones keeps his nose clean.

I thought the decision, all along, has said to be given to Dallas on August 30th in order for Dallas to make their final cuts accordingly. As I look at the date, next to me on the board, I see the 20th and not the 30th.

It would not make any sense at all for the Commish to have allowed Adam to practice with the team AND to play in the preseason games unless he had already come to the decision to reinstate him. Of course, this is all assuming he does not have any off-field issues before the start of the season.

And I think that is the only reason they are holding off on reinstatement and it should not be a big deal because Adam Jones is not going to be getting into trouble. Right Adam? :laugh2:
