Is Parcells safe with Jerry?

If Parcells leaves (and i don't think he will be fired) it's too bad that Fisher in Tennessee will not be available. He would be the perfect coach for this team-young, energetic, Super Bowl tested, in control of his team. But because of the Titans great late run he's having his option picked up from what I've read. I don't know where Jerry goes if Bill leaves. Maybe he can work out a compensation package for Fisher because I believe he would be the best choice.

I think Parcells will be back but I think Zimmer will be fired because of the defensive breakdowns. Come on, the Eagles offense isn't that good. This defense looked helpless trying to defend it. I know at some point players have to make plays but Zimmer is clueless coaching this defense. Parcells needs to make the change and get someone in who knows the 3-4 inside out. Right now this defense reminds me of the mid-90's Dolphins- way overrated and can't ever make a big stop in a big spot.

:hammer:

Parcells could already have Zimmers' replacement on the staff in Paul Pasqualoni.

Yes, the fact that the Cowboys got into the Playoffs has guranteed Parcells another season if he wants it.

But some of the things Jerry has been kicking around lately reminds me of the stuff he was kicking around when Campo was here.

Remember after the Saints game, on his weekly radio show on Duhnam & Miller, where he said that he had never seen an opposing coach out-scheme the Cowboys like Payton did since he had been the owner.

I just read an article posted by someone on this MB, where there was a quote that had Jerry was saying, "This is the most frustrated I have been in years".

Also, remember when Jerry use to always be on the sidelines when Campo was here when we were playing horrible, it happened again last night and I believe he also came down during one of the other horrible Home losses.

Man, where there is smoke, there is fire.

Mick, I noticed this also. I think Jerry's patience has worn dangerously thin. I definitely would not be suprised to see some type of coaching change after the season, especially if we have a quick playoff exit. Anyone else smell smoke??

I would luv to have Payton as our coach. I like his style and aggressive game calling. Wishful thinking but maybe in 10 years from now we will see..lol

Things are often said in frustration after bad games, but Jerry was POed after the game for sure. The lack of heart and apparent effort was cited.
BP cannot walk away from this without some blame. Is he safe?

Or will we just see some changes in the staff?

it wasnt the lack of heart or effort...its just that what the coaches are telling these players to do DOEST WORK

We're beaten well before the opening kickoff

David

here is where it stands...if bp does this in the playoffs, gets killed, then he is out and a full court press for cowher is in line.
