Hey Daly, you are right, The Texans drafted Henson in 2003. I keep forgetting Carter got here in 2001. So you are right about the years.
But Jones did ask the Texans for the right to Henson, But the Texans wanted more than a 3rd round pick at that time. But after seeing what Carr was about they dropped their asking price the next time Jones went asking.
I was off on the years, but I remember the reporting of that on Fox Southwest.

Well, Parcells was here BEFORE Henson got drafted, so he would have been in on any talks going on about Henson's draft rights in 2003, just like he was in 2004.

Being that all your facts on the subject have been wrong your "memory" is likely to be from the spring of 2004.
