Is Pickens Worth a Pass Rusher?

You cannot play a 3-4 D without a ROLB pass rusher that can give you +double digit sacks and offenses have to game plan. Parcells had Taylor, McGinest, and Ware. Denver Super Bowl Run had Miller and Ware. So what makes anyone think this defense is going to turn around without a beast at ROLB?

Which goes to a point. The Raiders need a WR and Dallas needs a Pass Rusher. My issue with Cosby is the age and knee. But what about a player that at one time was consider the next Beast that has now accumulated 10 sacks in the last 33 games played. He is 27 years old so there is at least 5-7 years sacking left.

Trade for Saints OLB/DE Chase Young, he has a potential out in his contract after the 2026 season. The Saints are cheap and will not break the bank for a former 2nd overall draft choice that is on his 3rd team. The Saints do not need a WR but would love draft picks for boy genius Kellen Moore to get more offense.

Send Pickens for a premium draft pick and take that pick and send it to Kellen Moore for Chase Young.

Just my thoughts I would get Chase Young now let Pickens go and play for a championship this season with Chase Young at ROLB.

There is no passrusher in the league worth George Pickens.

You basically want to flip Pickens to, say, KC, for a first and then flip that pick for Chase Young? Good way to make your team worse now and in the future, I guess.
