I think Cover 4 Read has its place in a defense.

Keep in mind, Eagles defense the prior year wasn't historically bad where they changed over 80% of the starters. They were terrible against the pass the prior yr but added Mitchell and Dejean in that draft.

We are playing a ton of new guys, along with a few rookies, it is going to take time to get everyone on the same page. If we are still seeing the same defense a month from now, then we should worry, but still is very early in the process.

They had basically the same amount of change as the Dallas D did.

6 of their top-10 in snap percentage in 2023 weren't on the roster in 2024. In 2024, their top 3 in snap percentage were all new players.
