Broaddus was practically throwing a temper tantrum on the postgame show at the thought that McCarthy could be back. So embarrassing.
I don’t care one way or another wth mike but didn’t broaduss have some bad blood with McCarthy dating back to his Green Bay scouting days?

The Dallas Cowboys beat a team with a winning record with half their team missing. A playoff caliber team. Against a top QB that has turned his career around.

And some of our fans do not like it. Typical hate from the usual crowd. Something they been whining about, not beating a quality team. But yet they do not like it.
And it was done with a back up QB, back up OL, key players still missing on defense. No running game.
I say that shows heart and guts. I mean, did some miss the way the defense were laying the wood.Something else some been complaining about for a very long time. Afraid to hit and afraid to tackle.

I was very proud of the way the teams has fought hard. Gives some encouragement to look forward to. Showing they players and coaches and team will not tank for a few draft positions slots. Something many fans may not understand from all the posts from the past month.

I understand fans, or some fans wanting losses for a better draft spot. But to blame the team and Jerry for not taking on purpose is hilarious.

This is not like 1988 in order to get Troy Aikman as the #1 overall pick. A top quality player can still be had in the mid rounds.
Micah at 11, CeeDee at 17.
we won games in 2010 under a backup QB and what did that really mean? We got Ginger for ten years.

Cowboys were on a high after the win over PIT, then got pulled WAY down to earth against DET.

They seemed to be in a daze after that losing to SF, ATL, PHI, and HOU.

Whatever happened during/after that HOU game, the team has looked different since

There was talk about if Jerry should fire MM. I don't know what happened but it was something. It has felt like a different team since, even in that CIN loss

I dont think hes a troll, but hes a guy who has swallowed the Kool Aid and doesnt see how the Cowboys do any wrong. Ive talked to him one on one. Its really just, Everything the Cowboys do is awesome.

shrugs.
Better hope we nail the draft. We sure the heck don’t do anything during FA to get better.

I don’t have a problem with Broaddus.

That said. He also defended Garret and argued against firing him referring to it as “low hanging fruit”

So on this I take him with a grain of salt.

Pretty sure he was gone by the time McCarthy was hired there... But either way, he really doesn't like Mike. He kept practically shouting, "If you're so happy with Mike, fine, give him an extension right now! What are you waiting for? Just do it now!"

Just like a six year old who was mad things didn't go his way. No wonder Parcells fired his candy ***.

When one gets to the point of crapping on any positive news or post that good players and coaches should not join the Cowboys then you should look in the mirror and wonder why it's worthwhile to be still a Cowboys fan. I have caustically expressed my dissatisfaction in this dysfunctional Cowboys ownership and upper management but it's also ok to post with some restraint and not be oblivious to diminishing this forum.

I'd be way more optimistic about 2025 if Dak's recovery wasn't going well.

And before the obligatory "rooting for someone to be hurt" posts pile up, no. I'm not wishing him to be permanently hobbled.

I'm just saying if he's under center week 1 next season I'll have basically zero optimism for a good result next year. Feel free to disagree but don't turn this into an emotional character assassination about "our fans rooting for our own guys to be hurt". Save it.
