I love Romo as a back-up QB for the foreseeable if that's the case...I think the whole thing doesn't get resolved either way until we see Tony suited up...until then Dak is officially just "filling in"...once Tony puts the pads back on AND IF Dak falters in some way (and is not replaced), we'll have our answer then.

That's my political answer...my gut says yes...the torch is passed.

QB Zone here we come!

Dak was excellent and then some, but I can't imagine this game has any effect on a decision to be made. That was the worst defense I've seen in years. Zero pressure on the quarterback, horrific run defense, receivers running wide open, JASON WITTEN running completely uncovered on multiple plays... and most embarrassing of all, how hard is it to just line up correctly? THREE neutral zone lining up penalties? What a mess!

Season's not over, so nothing is "Over" or "rightly so". Anything can happen between now & week 17. Pray both QBs get & stay healthy. We may very well need them both before this season is over.

It's football...injuries happen so I will say no. Barring injury or play similar to the Eagles game coupled with losses...my QB is going to just be ready to push the rookie in practice and step in when needed.

I like where your head's at.[/QUOTE]
There's a joke in there somewhere, but I won't go there.

Why would a game against the Browns, who have maybe the worst defense in the NFL, mean anything? I'd like to see Dak play well against a good passing defense before declaring Romo finished. Cinci is the only one that can even be argued as being above average that he played well against.

He played well and beat Philadelphia when it mattered and isn't 7-1 as a QB by stinking the joint up.
