Is the Bucs game a do or die game for any Dak fans?

Are you out on Dak if we lose this game and he turns the ball over?

If not, what would it take for you to be out on Dak?

On the opposite side, if Dak can get us to the NFC Championship I will apologize for discredting Dak.

no because he will still be the QB next year regarding. I get as mad as some at his INTs and mental errors but I also know there is nothing I do or say will change anything.

I’ve been a big Dak supporter, but I’ve lost some confidence in him the last season and a half. If he melts down against Tampa on Monday night, next season could be a make or break for him. He only signed a four year deal so if his up-and-down, mistake prone play continues in 2023 there’s a good possibility the Cowboys will start looking for another QB. Depending on how he plays in the playoffs, they could take a QB this April after the first round if there’s one they like. At some point the Cowboys have to start preparing for life without Dak if his game continues down this dark path. When Philly started to lose hope in Carson Wentz, they drafted Jalen Hurts in the second round. Anything other than a solid performance by Dak on Monday night that leads to a win will make me lose even more hope in him.

Everybody already knows where I come down with regard to the OC. I want him gone from Dallas yesterday. Let's hope he can get AZ or Denver or maybe the Colts job.
Actually me too.....Some on this board should contemplate......"Isn't a QB a product of the OC, his offensive philosophy, and his ability to set an offense to the best skillsets or attributes of the QB under his tutelage?"

Who has KMoore made better or stand out in this offense, outside of there own talents? Maybe just Cooper Rush, because he "watered down the approach".

You know I’m with you there. It’s not just the offense, it’s the regression of Dak. His game is not pointing up. I think a clean sweep of the entire offensive side of the ball coaching staff would do everyone some good.

I’ve been saying this same thing since Romo was here. It’s time to put the JG/Linny/Moore offense out to pasture.

The thing I want to see from Dak is more fire. He is far too passive on the sidelines when things are going south. I need him to get into the linemen's faces and demand better. Same with the receivers. The amount of dropped balls we saw yesterday was astounding. When I re-watched the game I stopped counting at 6 because I had to go throw up. At some point Dak needs to take matters into his own hands. If the receivers aren't getting open and won't catch the ball then take off and run for a few first downs and get the defense's attention. I think he's be amazed at how much that opens things up when you force the backers to check the QB before they drop. But I'm going to judge Dak on how DAK plays. If he balls out to the tune of 350 yards and 4 TDs but we lose because the defense gives up 40 I'm not going to be one of those idiots that comes in here talking about how he can't take this team to the promised land. I refuse to get sucked down to that level of stoopid.

.....and they conformed the offense to Jalen Hurts' skillset......not Jalen Hurts' completely conforming to the OC's offensive philosophy.

I am not part of the Dak hate crowd that blames everything on Dak. if Dak plays well, lets say like the Eagles game, but the defense lays a clunker and gives up a score in final minute. then I am not going to lay it on Dak. I know the comeback will be well we should have scored more. blah blah.

but if he plays average or bad, then yeah, fingers point at him. however, its unfortunate that it doesn't look like we are able to move on from him for another couple of years. perhaps a redo of contract, extend the length and cut him next year and take hits over a couple of years after.

problem is we don't have a back up plan. yeah yeah yeah, draft draft draft. but 4 out of 5 QBs picked in the first round fail. so we have an 80% chance of being in purgatory for several years and go through cycling QBs. we did that after Aikman retired until we lucked into Romo

I'm not even a big Dak fan and this game isn't going to do anything. We're like the 3rd or 4th best team in the NFC, it would be silly to expect a QB to compensate for that. Hell, the Packers QB couldn't even do that at home against the Lions.

In order for the Cowboys to get to the NFCCG the entire Cowboys team is going to have to take it up a notch or two. There is no such thing as Dak getting us there. That option doesn't exist.

.....then Dak would be like my avatar or T.O described......."He's detrimental or a cancer." I agree.....I'd like to see Dak or anybody get mad, a time or two. Right now Dak can't do that because he is in a funk (similar to Zeke's fumble season). Romo didn't get mad either. I miss a Troy Aikman expecting better performance or The Playmaker getting in people's face.

That's an indictment, people here argue every day on this forum that Dak is a top 10 QB.

That's right...so many times when the team goes three and out, Dak just goes and sits down. Stares into wonder land. I remember Aikman would cuss and throw a fit if his protection broke down...he was in there face...not staring into dark space.

Top ten of what? Who cares? If every QB after #6 isn't that good, what does that make #7 through #10? A top ten QB on a team that's not very good means what? Brock Purdy, last pick of the draft is probably going to lead the 49ers to the NFCCG. Is he a top 5 QB? He's on a well coached, really well put together team.

It's even more priceless when he keeps looking at the jumbotron review after an interception with that mouth half open like" how did that happen"? Then go sit on the bench with coaches not getting in his grill! Trash coaching along with trash QB play!

You claim you're not a big fan of Dak, but you sure are playing o-line for him. He'll let you down like he does the real o-line.

LOL, recently I've been referring to him as pick 6. So no, I'm not the biggest fan.
