Is the Bucs game a do or die game for any Dak fans?

You know you're getting a meaningful evaluation of a player when they tell you beforehand that they'll always believe in every player on our roster as long as they are on it.

Whoa. Keep us posted on what you see, bro.
Do you remember his Cooper Rush smear campaign thread because of a completed pass that wasn't thrown perfectly?

He doesn't evaluate all players the same.

Dak and Zeke above the team.

Everybody already knows where I come down with regard to the OC. I want him gone from Dallas yesterday. Let's hope he can get AZ or Denver or maybe the Colts job.
Lol I don't understand this line of thinking, and this goes for Dak haters and Kellen Moore haters. We have the number one scoring offense since 2020, what more do y'all want? Teams like KC and Buffalo may do more fancy plays, but it's not getting them more points. So if you think Moore/Dak are so bad, how are number one in points?

problem is we don't have a back up plan. yeah yeah yeah, draft draft draft. but 4 out of 5 QBs picked in the first round fail.
Plenty of good QB's in the other rounds. Get one early on day 3, work with him and develop him and see if he can play in this league.

IMO we should be doing that every other year until we find the next good Cowboys QB.

do or die for what? Win or lose he's still the 10th best qb. If you are objective he may slide to 12. I'm not a fan of him nor do I hate him.

Are you out on Dak if we lose this game and he turns the ball over?

If not, what would it take for you to be out on Dak?

On the opposite side, if Dak can get us to the NFC Championship I will apologize for discredting Dak.

I think it's a lot more complicated than if we lose and he throws an interception or two. If he's playing abysmally but the rest of the team plays great and he can be solely blamed for the loss? Sure, I'll no longer believe in him. He choked last January, but then so did the whole team.

However, if he throws an interception or two and it's obvious it was because the O-line wasn't protecting and the receivers were changing their routes, then it's not really Dak's fault is it? If the Offense scores 30 points and the defense refuses to stop the other team and the Cowboys lose, how is that Dak's fault?

And even if I stop believing in Dak, it doesn't mean I won't cheer him on and support him as long as he's QB. It just means I don't believe he can do it. Regardless, it's time to invest a high draft pick in a QB to sit behind him a couple of seasons. If Dak plays stellar and the Cowboys win or lose, I want to take an early round draft pick to select a QB to sit behind him. If Dak plays awful and contributes to a loss, I want the Cowboys to take an early draft pick to select a QB. It changes nothing. It just means Dak might get replaces a little sooner rather than later.

What it will take for me to be "out on Dak" is pretty simple. For him to no longer be the quarterback of my favorite team. Other than that? I'm pretty much going to always be "in on Dak."
Results mean nothing to you, I guess that confirms what I thought, Dak no matter what, just doesn’t make sense for a educated man to think like that, but all is good enjoy his greatness.

I thought Dak was past all the ball-holding and panic since the coaches had him "firing away" even when he didn't completely understand the coverages. It was working okay despite the persistent interceptions but I guess even that strategy fails when the OL fails to do a decent job.

1. Fix the OL
2. Fix the defense
3. Find a better QB

Parcells used to say you build the team from the inside out but Jerry never picked up on that, he takes his cues from PT Barnum.

If I owned the team I'd start Cooper Rush against the Bucs. But money dictates who starts, Dak gets big money Rush doesn't.

If Dak wears the star, I'm on his side. Same goes for any player with the star, plain and simple.

I feel it is not only our right, it is our duty to want for what is best for this team. If Dak is not what is best for this team, why should we want him?

We should be starting Cooper Rush against the Bucs in my opinion. But since there's no way that's going to happen for reasons, GO DAK! DELIVER!

No matter what anybody says today, if Dak performs poorly and loses this forum will have a serious meltdown.
This forum has regular meltdowns it’s nothing new . I laugh at most of them

Not for me. I’ve been happy with his play at QB since he was a rookie. I’ve always put him in the same boat as Romo….sometimes they are golden with strong receivers and a good OL, but every Cowboys team since we’ve had those two has been hampered by awful defenses and exasperated when they lose receivers and protection.

Im concerned by the poor decisions made by Dak this season more than anything physical. Because this season has been an outlier, I’m not worried about the future, but whether it’s now in the playoffs or next season, he must be better. Still, I’ll always be all in on Dak until the Cowboys actually replace him. Then I’ll be all in on the next guy.
