Is the Coady signing a way to save a roster spot?

It has me wondering, are we planning on keep just 3 safeties and maybe putting Beriault on the PUP with his knee, so we can have more time to sort out RB/FB/TE?

There are players on the bubble like Thompson, Johnson and Ratliff that likely would not stay on the PS, if they clear waivers at all.

Just a thought.

I think that the scheme Dallas will run with the safeties this year (interchangable) will allow them more roster space, but not necessarily this guy Coady. He hasn't made the team just yet, BZ.

And I think Barialt is going to play through that injury ... he looked pretty good to me. I can't wait to see him when his knee is better - at FS.
