And those 2 wins are against the sad-sack NY teams LOLWe win 2 games out of 5 and suddenly we are the team to beat.

The doors been open since the season started. Most here just were unable to see it.Before anyone decides to hurl insults at me, Philly is still the team to beat and most likely sitting atop the division when it's over. Our defense may put us in a hole we can't recover from. Washington doesn't have a good overall roster and the Giants are, well, the Giants.
But things in Philly are getting interesting. Hurts, Brown, and Barkley had a meeting that was picked up by the media. All three say it was just friends and teammates talking about getting the offense on track, but this comes a few days after both Mailata and Johnson spoke out in a way that denoted displeasure with the offense, despite the team's current record.
Famous Chiefs-stan Nick Wright, sharing a mic with Cowturd, suggested that their OC, Patillo, is on the hot seat. Sirianni knows his team is too talented to be playing the way they've been playing. He also knows that ownership in Philly holds people accountable.
In 2022, Sirianni gave up play calling after seven or eight games. The offense took off all the way to the Super Bowl.
In 2023, two new coordinators were allowed to stay all year, and the NFL figured out their high school schemes by week 11. The team tanked in the first round.
In 2024, the unfairly maligned Moore and Fangio took over, and we know what happened.
Jalen Hurts is now, going back to his college years, on his eight different OC.
If Philly falters, what team benefits the most? IMO, our Cowboys. Why?
Two reason stand out that point in that direction. First is that our offense is simply on fire. Part of this might be that we haven't played the best competition in most games, but no team put up these yards and points by accident. Our offense is damn good and can carry us past 2/3's of the league even with the current state of our defense. Is it sustainable? Maybe not through the entire back end of the schedule, but we're probably not dropping 30 points a game every week anyway.
Second, while our schedule is tougher the second half of the season, this is when our wounded on defense return. Overshown will be a massive boost to a LB corps that seems to be one of the worst tackling units in the league. Bland's return will be a boost to a secondary that needs help, to be kind. The return of both players should help the defense greatly.
Should Philly falter, the Cowboys are the team in the best position to take advantage of their fall. Strange things have happened in the past, so who knows what the future holds?
after these meetings they usually have a huge output of offense/scoringI just read an article regarding the issues the Eagles' offense is having. AJ, Hurt and Braskley met a couple of days ago. For whatever reason, they are out of syn but are 4-1, most coz of a couple of good breaks and their defense.
It's ironic how their defense is carrying their offense and our offense is carrying our defense. As for the Commanders, Quinn's defense never holds up........

Is Daniels back yet?Between Philly, Washington and Dallas, Dallas would be the weak link unless both Washington and Philly end up losing people to injury
I feel that they’ve always struggled Cowboys will go as far as the defense allows. There were some signs of life against the Jets, but we need to see whether that was actual progress or an anomaly because the played the Jets. Before anyone decides to hurl insults at me, Philly is still the team to beat and most likely sitting atop the division when it's over. If this D was 15th, we'd be super bowl contenders.I feel that they’ve always struggled Cowboys will go as far as the defense allows. There were some signs of life against the Jets, but we need to see whether that was actual progress or an anomaly because the played the Jets.
I think that if the defense can just prove capable, and middle of the league in rankings, the offense and special teams are good enough to contend.
But based on the first month of the season, the defense still has a ways to go.
Hopefully, we see continued improvement this week.
Yes.Is Daniels back yet?
That matters a ton.Yes.

Why do people do this? Just state your peace and then who cares what others think. They'll insult you even if they agree with you 'round here, lol. Don't post while looking over your shoulder. Less stress that way. Before anyone decides to hurl insults at me, ...
And since D wins super bowls...............................................................................
The Eagles D was grossly overrated last season because they won the super bowl. The Philly D was 1st last year, the O was 8th. The passing O was 29th, w/ Hurts throwing for a paltry 2,903 yards. Honestly, that's a pathetic amount.
And then, in the offseason, they let several key players walk, the biggest being Milton Williams. However, Josh Sweat and Darius Slay were also both huge losses.
Does anyone even know that Sweat and Milton Williams accounted for 4.5 of the 6 sacks in the super bowl? Huge, huge loss. Eagles would've been better off paying Milton than their 2nd WR.
The Philly D held every team in the playoffs under 24 pts. In today's NFL, that is great D.
does your phone auto inject sheesh into every post?NFCE, sheesh, it's the Super Bowl the next ten years in a row.![]()
Our only wins are against teams with a combined 1-9 record lolLOL, I was afraid of this… a win over the 0-5 Jets and all of a sudden Dallas has a path to win the NFCE…. Amazing![]()
I am trying not to look at long-term goals, but while I don't think it is that realistic for Dallas to win the East, the good thing at this point for Dallas' playoff hopes is that there are only four teams with just one loss. That means we are a half-game behind those contending for the fifth playoff spot. Now, a lot can change between now and then but the lack of an unbeaten and multiple teams with two losses means Dallas hasn't slipped much behind the pack at 2-2-1.Before anyone decides to hurl insults at me, Philly is still the team to beat and most likely sitting atop the division when it's over.
