Is there a favorite in the NFC after today

Philly is the hot team right now, can add the Vikings too. Lots will change by December though as Carolina, GB and Seattle get settled in.

There seems to be more parity here than the AFC for the time being.

It's going to come down to the same teams as usual

Packers, Carolina, and Seahawks. You'll then have Vikings grabbing the wildcard, and whoever from the NFC East who gets hot at the end of the year as usual will get the other division title.

Not buying in on the Eagles nonsense yet, same as I'm not fully on board with the Dak stuff. I think Wentz and Dak have both looked really good, Wentz impressed me today, but once coordinators get more film they will start to struggle.

Being "hot" in September football means absolutely nothing. It comes down to late November and December in today's league.

Zimmer is doing an awesome job with the Vikes, if they keep it up I wouldn't be surprised to see them win the North.

The West will come down to the Cards/Seahawks. I think they both make it in.

Carolina's always a threat.

If the Eagles defense keeps playing like they are, theyll be in the thick of things. They're probably going to be #1 in pts scored alloweds per drive, #1 in yards allowed per drive, top 3-5 in TO's per drive after this week. Ugh.

We're also right in the midst of things, i'm not really liking that DL, especially compared to all the other competitors in the NFC this year, but it'll be fun to watch. Hard getting that mad at anything really watching Dak play so well.

Giants probably still slight favs. Eagles are better than I thought but they still got a real tough schedule coming up. But clearly a statement by Philly yesterday. NFC East may be top to bottom best division in football.

Minnesota. Zimmer has his Cincy D there, perhaps better. I'm not a Bradford guy but believe Norv is a top level OC and will coach Sam up. McKinnon just needs to provide a decent running game. But again, their D will keep them in every game and even win some on its own.

Minnesota and Seattle have to be the favorites I think.

Minnesota's defense is legit and Bradford looks like a good fit. I bet there are no regrets about giving up that 1st rounder at this point.

Seattle always starts the season off a little slow and then finds their groove later on. Their defense is as legit as always.

I like what Zimmers doing, I think they're the team to beat. I think if we get our pass rushers back and stay healthy we can make some noise
Dak is real.

This one. You must not be watching. Cousins is the only reason Dallas won last week. Lol skins should've won by 20 or so
Shoulda woulda coulda, they didn't. Dallas left points on the board as well and give the defense credit for making plays in the 4th.

Its to early for a favorite.

Minnesota and seattle are going to be tough to deal with though because of their ability to play defense. Only few teams in this league play defense at a high level.

Philly plays some damn good defense

For the past couple of weeks I kept hearing about how we were doomed because of how good Carolina and Arizona were. Is that still true? Because they both looked pretty dang bad today. One could say the Vikings and Eagles are the new defacto favorites, but I am not yet ready to annoint the Eagles (maybe after Wentz battles through some adversity) and I have a hard time believing in this Petersonless Vikings offense long term. I suppose what I am getting at... Is that especially in the NFC there is so much parity that it seems silly to not even entertain the possibility that this might finally be our year.

I think Carson Palmer is done.

He collapsed last year in the playoffs and the effects of it are carrying over into this season.

Cardinals are really good. He is not.

Right now for me if i'm predicting the NFC championship I got the Vikings and Eagles.

Giants, Packers, Panthers, Cardinals, Seahawks, and Cowboys are all in the hunt.

Not even done with the 1st quarter of the season. Too early to know who's who and what's what. The Seahawks started slow last season and so did New England. It's a long season. Get ready for a marathon not a sprint.
